Darling Charming is the only feminine Sword-wielding knight character I've ever seen. Usually it is a man, or an extremely masculine woman (nothing wrong with that), but to have a soft-spoken, intellectual and graceful princess be a strong Knight, and still retain that softness is a really good character type. And it's not even in a shallow girlboss way, she is genuinely so cool. I really love her 💙 Props to the EAH team!

I feel like the writers hinted at Faybelle and Briar being a thing, but any possibility of a relationship probably didn’t get to develop further as the show was canceled by the time the winter special released. But, I feel that would’ve been the most ironic relationship, as the Dark Fairy/Maleficent had a vendetta against Sleeping Beauty. Would’ve been the most ironic thing if they’re daughters had become a couple.

But they obviously only came up with her later, so they kinda missed the boat on a lot of Darling potential. Her desperation to avoid heterosexual contact is surpassed only by Apple's, and it's funny to think of her as a Disaster Sword Lesbian the whole time, with animators throwing in all these obvious hints. The CPR/Obvious True Love's Kiss is maybe the most subversive thing ever tossed into such a young-audience show, and it's hilarious how clear it was meant to come across.

In one of the side stories (can't remember where exactly its from unfortunately), Darling got the white knight armor from the original white knight, who was stuck between Wonderland and Ever After. It's why she knows how to go between the two, and establishes how she could claim to be the protector of Wonderland. The white knight was the protector, and has passed on the title to Darling

I don’t think apple being lesbian is a good theory, neither is darling charming. Apple never wanted a different story, she always wanted a Prince Charming. Darling charming, I’m not so sure about her, but her kissing apple was probably her realizing that she might be the person to wake her, but not be her princess charming. If you know you know, the evil queen was able to poison apple, raven wasn’t the one to poison her. The stories are very fluid, so them been lesbians is a pretty bold theory considering we all know apple never wanted a different story..
No offense but... I don't really see the ship. The only reason why Darling kissed apple was because she thought that she might be able to wake apple because she was also a descent of Prince Charming. If you look back to before she kissed Apple, she didn't really look like she was on board of the idea, she looked confused and unsure. She might've thought since she's more of a Charming than her own brother, who's only pretentious and hasn't actually done anything "Heroic" unlike Darling in Wonderland, that she might be able to save apple from her eternal sleep forever (I think she was actually about to die, idk forgot the story) and tried anything to save her than see her die. I actually see them more of Besties/Friends than see them in a Romantic relationship. We didn't actually see them interact in a romantic way that much in the end, but I don't know since they discontinued it. (I'm more of the Red knight x Darling but whatever. They didn't really interact much, only in the Wonderland episode. I think it was a 1time thing). You guys do you I guess

Why are you in denial about her not liking guys?? She obviously is into Apple and prefers to be around girls, but animators can be cowards at times/ they have to censor sexuality and love interests and stuff so they don't get their shows canceled by homophobic parents. They did the same thing with Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune (US version). Plus Monster High, they only recently spread news (like a fewish years ago) that Clawdeen likes girls too, and Kieran is gay and has a boyfriend. I get that you might kin her or whatever, but she definitely doesn't like men, and she doesn't need one, ever. You can still kin her, but she's a lesbian.

In one of the side stories (can't remember where exactly its from unfortunately), Darling got the white knight armor from the original white knight, who was stuck between Wonderland and Ever After. It's why she knows how to go between the two, and establishes how she could claim to be the protector of Wonderland. The white knight was the protector, and has passed on the title to Darling

You know it's kind of sad how the show like ended because like it ended with a bad special also I am the metal is never going to revive Ever After High because they just care more about Monster High and no shame to Monster High it's just that I'm kind of sad that Mattel is never going to bring back Ever After High because they literally just don't care about it and if they ever do bring it back they better keep it in the same art style as the original series because this art style is freaking beautiful like you eat the cake compared to Monster High art style in the webisodes and if I ever do bring it back I think that they might actually make apple X darling a real thing because you saw the new Monster High and how Cleo and Frankie are now a thing in the show on Nickelodeon and I just hope that it eventually comes back even though it probably will never come back because it does not care about Ever After High whatsoever also I feel like Ever After High kind of needed a reboot because like some of the storyline they made like wait a Wonderland wasn't really that good

I don’t think apple being lesbian is a good theory, neither is darling charming. Apple never wanted a different story, she always wanted a Prince Charming. Darling charming, I’m not so sure about her, but her kissing apple was probably her realizing that she might be the person to wake her, but not be her princess charming. If you know you know, the evil queen was able to poison apple, raven wasn’t the one to poison her. The stories are very fluid, so them been lesbians is a pretty bold theory considering we all know apple never wanted a different story..

No offense but... I don't really see the ship. The only reason why Darling kissed apple was because she thought that she might be able to wake apple because she was also a descent of Prince Charming. If you look back to before she kissed Apple, she didn't really look like she was on board of the idea, she looked confused and unsure. She might've thought since she's more of a Charming than her own brother, who's only pretentious and hasn't actually done anything "Heroic" unlike Darling in Wonderland, that she might be able to save apple from her eternal sleep forever (I think she was actually about to die, idk forgot the story) and tried anything to save her than see her die. I actually see them more of Besties/Friends than see them in a Romantic relationship. We didn't actually see them interact in a romantic way that much in the end, but I don't know since they discontinued it. (I'm more of the Red knight x Darling but whatever. They didn't really interact much, only in the Wonderland episode. I think it was a 1time thing). You guys do you I guess

Why are you in denial about her not liking guys?? She obviously is into Apple and prefers to be around girls, but animators can be cowards at times/ they have to censor sexuality and love interests and stuff so they don't get their shows canceled by homophobic parents. They did the same thing with Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune (US version). Plus Monster High, they only recently spread news (like a fewish years ago) that Clawdeen likes girls too, and Kieran is gay and has a boyfriend. I get that you might kin her or whatever, but she definitely doesn't like men, and she doesn't need one, ever. You can still kin her, but she's a lesbian.
