  • I swap the Nox800 for the Manticore today and for the purpose of learning, I do only live digs and discuss the tones, the target id, and the 2D screen. It’s about the learning but I manage to find some cool silver 😃Keep on swingin and keep on grinnin. Manticore magic!

    Great video Camille, nice and clear. Nice finds, you've got to wonder how something like that caribiner was lost in the park. Old favourite shoe's and comfy trackies and waffling on are all part of what makes your videos uniquely you. Thanks for keeping it real . Well done mate look forward to the next upload 👌

      Haha you make me laugh. Other times in my life Im very dressed up so when Im out bush, or on the permission I do tend to dress down and relaxed. If I detect closer to people I do actually try to look respectable. It helps with the image of detecting. But I do keep it real !! Messy hair dont care. It’s all about the hobby and finding cool stuff. 🤗

      Hi Slim I’m loving the Manti. I’m still using the Nox800 and small coil. But mostly the Beast in open flat areas. There’s a few more vids since this one. Been a great journey so far. Cheers. Camille

    Yeh nah think I will stay with the nox, I’m just not convinced the few extra features justify cost and not convinced the 2D screen is a winner but each to their own. Thanks for sharing, take care.

    You're learning your Manti good, I find that alot of coins on edge will show as a blob but when you get them flat with a solid tone they show up as a circle. I run in prospecting mode, all metal so tids and tones don't mean much to me. The extra depth is what I wanted and it's perfect for hunting those deeper gold rings.

    • @10TargetsDetecting
      @10TargetsDetecting  Год назад +1

      Yep having fun learning. Still love the Nox. Especially with the 6” coil. But I’ll keep persisting with the Manticore at some of my old sites and see what I can find and keep learning of course. 🤗

    Great vid fir info, I’d like to try the manti to see how it goes on beaches here in SA if it goes deeper than my Nox it’d be handy with finding deep targets in sand.

    • @10TargetsDetecting

      I’ve heard it’s amazing with depth on the beach. I took it out today in a trashy bush setting and I was so surprised and stoked with the target separation. I think I can use both the Manti and the Nox complimenting each other. Have a lovely weekend.

      It is a deep machine on the beach I’ve been told. About a 1/4 inch deeper then the Deus2.

    Hi Camille also have the Nox 800 and have really enjoyed it but thinking about the Manticore now that they have the anniversary deal and lower price..Do you see it as a much bigger upgrade over the Nox 800..I love the 50 tones of the Nox..Oh did just subscribe to your channel keep up the great work pretty Lady.

    • @10TargetsDetecting
      @10TargetsDetecting  3 месяца назад

      Hi Mark and thanks for the sub! I love the Nox800 but I love the Manticore. If you like personalising the detector to the site you’re at, and having more guides like the 2D screen to help you decide to dig or not to dig to maximise your time digging better targets each hunt. I set my manticore to 5 target tones and mimicked the sounds from the nox800 - what my ears were used to. The TID for the manticore is interesting … so many numbers 0-99 and not very stable like the Nox.
      Let me know if you decide to get one and what you think of it. Cheers and thanks again for watching! Camille 😊👍👍

    So different to uk. All good signals. Very little iron. The shape on 2D screen is the spread of the signal not the shape of object necessarily. Also because 99 tone regions you can expect more spread than 50 tones so don’t worry about “jumpy” signals with a spread of 5 or 6 for example. Tone first, 2D screen second, numbers last

    Has your Manticore got the latest update. "Stabiliser Setting: A new Stabiliser feature has been added to All Terrain Search Modes, significantly enhancing useability in iron trash. It improves the overall stability of the audio and Target IDs at sites where iron falseing may be experienced, and adds nuance to better distinguish good targets from iron. Adjust from 0 to 12 and make false detections a thing of the past." Could coins on edge show as flat line?

    • @10TargetsDetecting
      @10TargetsDetecting  Год назад

      Hi Paul it does have the latest update. I heard about the stabiliser feature being added to help with iron trash in the soil. Im learning that coins on edge could show as flatter (not round). I need more time on it to really trust it like I do the Nox. What are you swinging at the moment? 😊
