I always wanted Raj and Claire to be the end game. I never liked Emily, and I didn't think she and Raj had chemistry. Claire was cute, beautiful, smart, and had way more interesting passion/job than Emily. Her being a screenwriter could have worked brilliantly on this show. With time, the writers could have made her a successful screenwriter/filmmaker, and it would be interesting to see Raj & the guys helping her with scripts for her sci-fi movie/movies, it could have been such a fun, fitting storyline because the guys love sci-fi and they have the knowledge to invent interesting sci-fi stories. Claire and her storyline would have been a perfect fit for this show if only the writers were serious about it. Too bad they weren't. They should have made Raj break up with Emily and find true love with Claire, instead, the Emily thing ended and didn't get anywhere, Claire's storyline ended with nothing too, and Raj became more of a jerk and less charming in the last 4 seasons. I will never understand these choices by the BBT writers.

Seriously, it’s overrated. Compared to the Disney Renaissance films of the 90s, it’s mediocre at best.
Claire’s face when she realizes that the two nerds have been arguing about Frozen for an hour is priceless! She is, IMHO, the hottest female character in the entire series. She’s even hotter than Alex, and that’s saying something.
What about Vanessa Bennet?

Guys, when you're single, you barely get a 2nd or even 1st glance but when you're in a relationship, interested women come out of nowhere to talk to you, even hit on you. That rarely happens when you're single. It's as if they picked up the scent of another woman on you & it's competition time. Am I right?
It Is because when you're in a relationship you project self confidence and chicks notice that. Take my word for It.
@@bonescoop While I agree with the confidence aspect, I'm referring to the phenomenon that chicks come out of the blue to go & talk to you even if you're just sitting around & waiting for the wife or girlfriend. Believe me, there's no aura of confidence or charisma oozing there while you're sitting there hunched over, bored, frustrated or pissed off. Chicks don't come to talk to you when you're waiting on your buddies arriving late.
I'll be honest, the most beautiful women are always taken. I mean it makes sense, but it's really weird.
Weirdly after I turned 18, it was like random men knew and started hitting on me. So weird. I didn't look any different either. I actually look young for my age.
I was one of those rarities. Got asked out by this woman whom I met along with her late mother while I was homeless & crashing at the same hotel for the night; I got off the street in 2021 & we found each other again by accident on Facebook in December of 2023 & I proposed right then & didn't even get a yes; I got an "of course, babe". Can't thank God & the circumstances enough because oh man, did I look rough 😂.

Out of his league and not just physically speaking: she has more a Penny personality that would better match with Leonard or maybe non-creepy Howard or Stuart before the writers screwed his personality.

Raj is wrong. Howard is right. And Frozen too overhyped as a movie.
I will never forget forgive what Frozen did. Before it came out my 9th grade choir class was gearing up to do a fantasy winter concert with songs from LOTR, the Hobbit, Skyrim and others. Then…. Frozen and in an instant, and since the class was 80% teenage girls, it got changed to a Frozen medley. And since it was so rushed last minute it was terrible. Over 10 years later and I still hold a grudge against that movie. Let it go and love is an open door in particular.
People say it's the best sister movie when lilo and stitch had more heart and love poured into it. Frozen was too money hungry, and that was apparent with everything it set out to do. The drafts had more heart than the final, and it's all because of that annoying mid song.
Raj cites it as a great movie because of how much it made at the B.O. Shows you where his head is at, huh?

What I didn’t like about having Claire as an official girlfriend of Raj’s, is that they didn’t get much screen time alone together. He was supposedly seeing Emily and Claire at the same time, yet we never see any intimate scenes - only a scene where Raj was helping Claire with her science fiction story, an over the phone scene with Raj asking about Emily taking him back, a social scene with his group of friends …… and the only talks of intimacy were Raj bragging about seeing two women at once.
I personally think the writers should have done a better job at showing Raj and Claire together, because Raj and Emily had tons of relationship screen time , and reasonable screen time with Lucy and Anu.

I've always preferred it when Raj couldn't speak to women unless he was drunk. When they turned him ihto a ladies' man, it just felt like the writers started kowtowing to the actor's wishes.

I honestly couldn’t even imagine them ACTUALLY together. They never kissed or did ANYTHING on screen together. Chuck Lorre is an idiot and made Raj pathetic. I didn’t feel bad for him that he ended up alone.

It still has MANY flaws and plot holes. It’s NOT that great. Also, it really is overrated. I agree with Claire, and I believe Raj is too hung up on his over the top praise of ANY Disney movie. Seriously Disney sucks; they ruined one of my fav book series OAT.

He was dumped by a girl with social anxiety because he was so pushy about taking her out of her comfort zone before she was ready so she broke it off . Raj was so depressed Penny went to comfort him and they realized he hadn't drank anything but he was still talking to Penny breaking his own selective mutism.
