I'm definitely into including side-boards here, I think that would add to the video, seeing as you could talk about the specific game-plan against decks that have an inherent advantage against the one you're using for the episode, why you're targeting a certain deck, etc.

"Synchro summoning in 2021 is going to get you laughed out of the nursing home" - Joseph, before realizing synchro spam is the best deck in the game, and before a fusion monster would be the most used card in the game
I like Speedroids because they're literally a toybox deck. Unlike a toolbox, they don't have a ton of utility, but they get to play with all the cool synchro toys. Labbing up combos with the deck is extremely fun, and you get to play a lot of cool cards when you're locked into WIND.
At this point wind has so many cracked cards that it's hard to choose the best ones to fit in a 40 card deck without either playing 20 one ofs or missing out on some pretty cool stuff
Another week, another episode of flailing helplessly at Drytron! (For real, I think what you said about including sideboards in future episodes is a great idea, if only to stop getting owned by Drytron.)
Speedroids capture the feeling of throwing dollar store toys at someone perfectly. It hurts, it's annoying, and sometimes the other person throws a big rock at you and you have to stop
"trying to synchro summon in 2021 will get you laughed out of the nursing home" while concurrently taking 5-0 at locals because all my deck does is create and play through unbreakable boards. It just so happens most of the best disruption in the game right now directly supports strong synchro plays. There are few things that can match the pace of a Red Rising Dragon engine especially when all the components either replace themselves or recur themselves from the bin.
At this point I wouldn't be surprised if you just put Lava Golem and Dark Ruler No More in every sideboard lol. Just sooo many Drytron-esque turn 1s floating around
Some Speedroid decks I’ve seen run at least 3 Kaijus. One of my favorites is to summon a level 7 Kaiju and then summon Malicious Magnet to synchro into Kitedrake for a board wipe.
@@dbzfanzone4725 go for it. Just be mindful that if Magnet’s effect is negated you’re stuck with a tuner with zero attack and defense that can only synchro with its effect.

I think a side board is actually a really good idea. it allows you to show what cards you can put in that wouldnt disrupt your consistency or combo, you could even talk about what you would side out too. Itll also show, depending on the side, what weaknesses the deck and how you can attempt to deal with it in game 2 and 3, as well as how to prep for going game 2 or 3.
4:31 Arc-V Manga, all of the Yu boys shared a body, and they all needed to be able to Pendulum summon. Hence, Marble Machine, Domino Butterfly, and Predaplant Spider Orchid exist.
Yall should definitely put in martial metal marcher in the extra so you can go cork blaster> recover mats>martial> recover tuner. It's also a wind monster so it doesn't get locked out
Only problem is that martial negates the effects of the tuner summoned and any synchro summoned monster is counted as a tuner if Martial’s used as material for it.
Just so you know MBT, the second to the last individual on your Patreon whose name is Japanese characters サスインポスタ is Katakana for "Sus Imposter". (Sasu Inposuta). Been messing with F.A. speedroid recently and I think its a lot of fun, just need to summon shining star gt/dawn dragster before wind locking and speedroids pretty much just act as the swarming F.A. lacks
The pendulums are from the manga, yuya shares a body with the rest of the boys and they switch places thats why phantom knights predaplants and speedroids have pendulums cause of yuya
Fun fact about crystal clear, if it gets kaijued it’s effect will still trigger because it’s effect says that if it’s sent from field by opponents card it’s effect triggers
While I think the Synchro Storm support is very good, I feel that this format isn't going to be too kind to Speedroid; Effect Veiler and Imperm are going to be the no.1 handtraps to run, and both Rubberband Shooter and Cork Shooter are huge magnets for those. Additionally, while it's good that the deck can make Baronne with some consistency, Swordsoul can do exactly the same with less card commitment.
Honestly Gozen Match is a godsend in this deck since nowadays people focus on multiple attributes either in engine or for degenerate plays. Would definitely drop a Cork Blaster or the Link for a Chanbara to make OTK easier and Hagoita makes it possible for a 2nd Crystal Wing. Moment it gets in grave with Duke or having Recovery in hand with a Tuner means you still are getting a Synchro even when Nib'd. Dont know how I feel about Clear Crystal Wing or Cosmo Blazar because of how specific the materials are when something like ShenShen seems to be the bigger board threat. Also as much as I initiallly hated it, Ive come to love a small Windwitch package because it makes it easy to have the first Crystal Wing be non-destructible due to Snow Bell along with having Wind Pegasus in grave for its effect and just good Hand-Trap bait like Wynn can be. Focusing on some Level 6 monsters like Adamancipator Raptite for a Quick Effect DD Crow, Virtual World JiuJiu for a target send and non-destructible 2400 body that cant be destroyed when 2 monsters of same type and attribute are in grave, and Charge Warrior for a draw have been saviors in my build. Also Triple T I think works better in this deck so you can either rip out a card or Pot of Greed gets more utility than Crossout so the bricks can be lowered.
I've been playing this one for a little bit (I found it only a couple days ago), and it's so much fun! I'm going to apologize in advance for how long this is, I just wanted to share a really fun combo that's been working well for me. Cosmic Blazar really isn't that hard to get out, it can be done with Marble Machine and either CarTurbo/Taketamborg in hand (because you can search the other one to hand with Marble's effect). Normal Marble to search the one you're missing, then Special Car under its effect. Use them to Synchro Hagoita, then SS Take under its own effect. Tribute Take under its own effect to SS Red-Eyed Dice from deck. Trigger Dice's summon effect to drop Hagoita's Lvl to 2, then use the two to Synchro Cork Shooter. Use Cork's effect to SS its material used. Trigger Dice's effect to drop Hagoita's Lvl to 3, then use the two to Synchro Puzzle. SS Hagoita from Grave under its effect, then use the three to Synchro Cosmic Blazar. Ideally you have another Speedroid on field before you Normal Marble (so Hagoita doesn't have to SS with its own effect before Cosmic comes out) and have Daiko Duke in Grave; so Daiko Duke can banish itself after Cosmic summon to SS Cork, then Hagoita can SS itself and the two can be used to Synchro a Crystal Wing. Plus, you can still add a Speedroid from Grave to Hand during End Phase from Puzzle's effect. Even MORE ideally, you draw into Speedroid Wheel before anything starts and roll 4+ to SS Daiko Duke and Dice as Link Material for Rubber Band and get Double Yoyo from the search. Using Rubber Band's effect to Normal Yoyo and Yoyo's effect to SS Dice from Grave. Trigger Dice's effect to change Yoyo's Lvl to 6, then use them to Synchro Clear Wing Synchro for a third (more limited) monster negate on board. Then use Puzzle's effect during End Phase to add Yoyo back to Hand for more Synchro plays with whatever survives to next turn. Not gonna lie, Cosmic Blazar's ability to negate any kind of Summon is kinda busted; at the very least it's obnoxious. CBD can handle any really problematic cards, Crystal Wing can handle any Verte Anaconda shenanigans, and Clear Wing Synchro can interrupt any low level combo starters. That's probably one of the better first turn plays (and doesn't immediately require Terrortop but can be set up by it), the best second turn play is almost always going to be Kitedrake's board wipe. Which can be reached using no Normal Summon with Take tributing itself for Daiko Duke ideally and Rubberband Plane (or Red Haired Hasty Horse). That also gives the opportunity use Kitedrake with a possible Car to go into Clear Wing Rider to destroy any floaters and recycle Extra Deck cards (possibly move Dice back to Deck for a Take SS or recycle something to be searched with Wynn like Droll). Really everything about this deck is obnoxious, and I absolutely love it.
It’s pretty easy to get Blazar with this deck even without Rubberband Shooter. At first I wasn’t feeling Hagoita but then I learned it can summon itself from the graveyard if there’s a Speedroid tuner on your field.
Elder Entity Hastorr is a lv 4 synchro that equips itself to a monster and is basically fog blade when SENT FROM THW FIELD TO GY in any way... And it's a wind. Idk, may work. Synchro climbing will trigger it
I’m sure it’s been a while so you probably found out why, but rubber band shooter locks you into synchro summoning if you use the extra normal summon so it’s a little situational. If you chose not to use the effect it’s usually better to go into aurodon for baroness
@@jdealz9983 no I suggested that line only for certain situations, there are better and more reliable boards you can make. and as a speedroid player of course I know about rubber band shooter

Great deck profile, the only thing I would change is that you should run reasoning instead of monster reborn. I'm also going to run one for one in my speedroid deck for consistency
I don't understand how Joseph calls these "10 minute testings" anymore when they've doubled in length over the years 😂 (I like the length tho) (That's what's she said)
16:42 I have to disagree, the deck is extremely linear if built properly. Sure, Speedroid Scratch and Small World weren't released at the time of recording, but your boards and combos are nearly identical with Cosmic Blazar lines being available to you with nearly every opening hand. The deck is very similar to Salad and has followups that grow stronger every single turn. I also was quite disappointed seing only one Crystal Wing in the deck that has a double Crystal Wing combo that can be played through Droll and Nibiru.

Not only is it consistent now, but it’ll be even more so when/if Speedroid Scratch drops
it's literally the same thing as wynn though
Is it me or does Konami have to balance every new synchro around needle
Yes
It is not just you. A lot of synchros and tuners have restrictions that they probably wouldn't have if not for Halq, at least from what I've seen.
It's kinda funny. If it was that much of a problem they should just ban it.
I hate halqi I miss glow up bulb
@@legendredux1291 Literally all Halq needs to be fixed is an errata to summon Crystrons, and maybe lock you for the turn. So many tuners could come off the list.
Including side-boards would be awesome.
"The Longer the Video is, THE MORE MONEY I MAKE!" lmao
Please keep doing these intros... I love them!
okay but the wheres the once per turn shook my organs
I see "Mbt's toes" has evolved...
damn the yugioh 5ds motorbikes makin a comeback
Do you think the windwitch package would be bad in this deck?
14:07 wouldn't have been better to make a two material apaloosa just to get an extra negate on the field? I'm returning to the game and slowly learning the new meta
Extradeck is very tight is the main thing also with a two mat appolusa one might just summon something that can walk over and do their combo in mp2
Great deck profile, the only thing I would change is that you should run reasoning instead of monster reborn. I'm also going to run one for one in my speedroid deck for consistency
i cant believe mbt dueled against himself in the last game
All of them.
It's very impressivr
I don't understand how Joseph calls these "10 minute testings" anymore when they've doubled in length over the years 😂 (I like the length tho)
(That's what's she said)
16:42 I have to disagree, the deck is extremely linear if built properly.
10:56 that’s… not supposed to be funny but it is 😂
We finally found out what he was going to do with the shoe after the Generaider ten minute testing
1:40 For a hot second I thought a random youtube link ad showed up and I went to click the x.
