Several discrepancies. 1) Fawcett didn't lose the lawsuit, they in fact won the lawsuit, as it was proven that Bill "Captain Marvel" Batson was in development at the same time as Clark "Superman" Kent, they were both first released within months of each other, and Superman's powers were changed after Captain Marvel came out. If you go back, you will see that Captain Marvel was far more powerful and had abilities that Superman didn't, like Flight (yes, flight. Superman didn't fly until a few years after Captain Marvel, because Superman was being given a Radio Serial, and the Foley Operator couldn't come up with a sound for "Leaping a Tall Building in a Single Bound", which was what Superman could originally do, not fly... the Foley guy suggested National Comics change it, so they did, then they sued Fawcett to pre-emptively destroy the competition). 2) DC didn't buy the rights from Fawcett. The years in court were too much, Fawcett went under, but they refused to sell to DC, and instead sold to Charleston (creators of Blue Beetle and the Question). Unfortunately, Charleston did eventually sell to DC, giving all the Charleston and Fawcett characters to DC. 3) Steel is not an Iron Man rippoff, he is a Superman fanboy, his armor is vastly different from Iron Man's. By the loose definition of calling Steel an Iron Man rippoff for having Armor, Thor is a Superman rippoff for having Superstrength, Flight, a Red Cape, Nigh Invulnerability, and having enemies from his own powerful people. You missed a real big one... Aquaman is a Blatant Namor Rippoff (Half Surface Dwelling King of Atlantis, who sometimes fights other heroes, green scaled lower body attire, wings on his ankles/legs, super strong, often fights others of his kind for his throne... Namor 1939, Aquaman 1941) BTW, Captain Marvel premiered Feb 1940... so did the Adventures of Superman Radio Serial... meaning Captain Marvel, who was being designed around the same time, had the powers when Superman gained them... Superman was Faster than a Speeding Bullet (Mach 1), Captain Marvel could move with the Speed of Mercury (Lightspeed); Superman was More Powerful than a Locomotive (Able to Lift/Push/Pull about 25 tons) for hours, Captain Marvel had the Strength of Hercules (Able to Hold up all creation) and the Stamina of Atlas (For all eternity); Superman could Leap Tall Buildings in a Single Bound, Speed of Mercury included being able to Fly; Superman was Bullet Proof, Captain Marvel has the Courage of Achilles (Meaning nothing could physically harm him). There is a reason DC actually didn't win the lawsuit, but DC and Fawcett settled after years of fighting.
Wow. I've never seen someone try to retcon reality so hard. I'm actually a Huge fan of Captain Marvel, far more than I am of superman but Jesus fellow do better research
Fawcett couldn't sell Captain Marvel was part of the settlement and DC didn't want to buy him at that time. I read it was Jack Kirby who suggested to Carmine Infantino to get Captain Marvel when Kirby went to DC in the 70's
@@markmullins8622 Learn your history, Bill Parker began the concept that was fused into a single character of Captain Marvel in 1937, Siegel and Shuster's Ubermench/Superman was originally a Bald Villain like Luther... the characters were proven to be drastically different, especially as Superman was provable by his own first comics to be not remotely in the same power levels nor abilities as Captain Marvel (SUPERMAN COULD NOT FLY UNTIL THE RADIO SERIAL, WHICH CAME OUT AFTER WHIZ Comics #2). DC has retconned the story in the past few decades to portray themselves as the winners because it looks bad if people remember that they literally went around suing and screwing other companies over for their most iconic characters (everyone early on except Batman and Superman was created by competition, All-American Comics was the first to be consumed by National and Detective Comics to use Detective Comics Initials: DC as their new unified brand... Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Flash were the first character stolen to make DC, while the big ripp-offs, Superman and Batman would become the Iconic proof DC 'created' Superheroes and could sue anyone and everyone... except Timely had Captain America, Human Torch, and Namor first.. oh, Look, the guys DC ripped-off to come up with Guardian, Red Tornado, and Aquaman... yeah, Vision isn't a rip-off of Red Tornado, Vision is a restored Human Torch, Red Tornado is a Rip-Off of the Original Human Torch, Jim Hammond, created by Professor Phineas Thomas Horton). DC wants everyone to think they won, because it removes the stain that they have been stealing characters since their inception (They even stole Superman from Siegal and Shuster, which was another legal battle that was fought for decades, taking til 1975 for Siegal and Shuster to get anything for actually creating Superman... and even then it was a joke, but you knew that, cause you're such a fan). Telling the story from DC's slanted perspective only helps them rewrite the history that they abused writers, stole characters, destroyed competition, and would control everything if it weren't for Jack Kirby and Joe Lieber (yes, Joe, not his nephew Stanley, because Jack and Joe were creating two decades sooner and while Stan would be the one to make Marvel Marvelous, Joe and Jack built the foundation that Stan could build the Skyscraper atop).
@markmullins8622 you probably think Edison invented the lightbulb, and Al Gore's dad invented the internet. Ban news for you, N-Rays don't exist; despite Ralph Nader doing a video on it, you can't buy Kryptonite to protect yourself from Superman; and Superman is slower than the Flash (and has actually always been, because Superman is only faster than a Speeding Bullet, aka, just over Mach 1)
Sentry was inspired by Miracle Man and Shazam. Blue Marvel has more in common with Captain Atom. The only Superman type character in Marvel is Hyperion. Gladiator was inspired by the version of Superboy and The Legion Of Superheroes. Superman himself was inspired by Warlord Of Mars, Doc Savage and the Golden Age Gladiator.
Marvel's Captain Marvel it's not a copy of Shazam. They took ownership of a name because they were Marvel Comics and had to keep publishing the comic or the character to keep the copyright but their powers and Origins are nothing alike
Iron Man seems to be a mash-up of Bruce Wayne and Superman (Iron Man... Man of Steel, red and gold suit = red and yellow "S"). Carol Danvers -= Kara Danvers, obviously, with a bit of Green Lantern thrown in. Nothing wrong with Marvel and DC having some healthy competition and keeping each other on their toes.
You are so wrong! Even captain america costume is a copy from a hero from dc watchman... there are so many things that are stolen from dc.EVEN THE NAME "MARVEL" (for the comic) is stolen😂
Who the heck is Watchman? Captain America was made in 1940. DC Comics wasn't even DC Comics until 1977, National Publications was the company suing and ripping off others.
The originals have different origins Vision of the original 1940s is a Sckull actually, the original Human Touch has a connection to the Artificial Man known as The Vision and in DC universe Red Tornado is the first there is Amazo he and Torando share an identity origin, and Amazo is similar to Ultron but his abilities are like Mimics. Red Tornado is also an Elemental his powers stem from the Elemental winds and his Redness isn't always been that he has had an additional colour greenie blue which was his original body back when he was first created and his powers weren't developed enough back then. Vision has gone through numerous phases of origins and his powers were significant but some were still intriguingly not developed till later through different timelines, and this is due to a time-travelling individual. Vision colour had changed and though he retained his original colours they do define him as Vision part of The Avengers and his family. Vision Prime the original is the old body this current version was rebuilt by Tony Stark and Henry Pym. But he evolved his tech inside and has used some future technologies to boost his powers Vision is more important AI than android while Red Tornado has also changed through scientific research and had Cyborg helping him with updating his status he is quite possibly a different android to Vision with powers of nature at his disposal and he to has an AI now based of tech from Krypton and Amazon and Atlantis. Metal and electrical sparks and mystical Elements make up Tornado source of inspirational powers. 1940 Vision is more like Jon Jones in his backstories an alien living on Earth and hiding as a hero and a decent detective too, he later was a member of many teams I believe he still is around he might of been involved in the Skrull Invasion and was imprisoned by his race but escaped and possibly ended up in a different universe briefly and The Collector caught him?
All the Stories from DC and Marvel were originally connected together except that they broke away from each other and in court they got a settlement agreement known as to each their own...and this resulted in both Companies losing rights to two main things either one company lost the name I'm usage for that Character...and by this agreement each Company was able to retain to pieces of the Storyline or the character...now the if you got the Character in the settlement the other lost rights to the Name and back and Forth... I'll give you a Good example that not many people get... The Joker and the Green Goblin are the same Character except that because one or the other company lost the rights they had to rewrite the storyline and both companies have been stuck on that... Now Wolverine is supposed to be Batman except that like the Joker in Batman Wolverine is poor and Homeless in X-Men and in reverse the Joker was made poor and Homeless in Superman...😅 This is a real story...now Fox owns X-Men and Spiderman and the Fantastic 4 and any shows you ever seen on Fox like Captain Planet right that's Marvel and those kids from the show use the Madrians POWER RINGS...there's 10 right the Green Lantern has the Green Ring right and he does make an appearance with the doctor strange because you don't realize that Doctor Strange appeared in both DC and Marvel storylines...now Iron Man is supposed to be Disney right Walt Disney himself...and Iron Man and Spiderman meet up...now the WB is DC comics and they been making movies for ever trying to fix their storyline gaps and retrofitting the missing character either by name or appearance...now on DC sides Batman Beyond is their Spiderman... Terry Meguines is Knight Hawks Son and Night Hawk used an Earlier version in the Batman stories... except that Batman disappears and the Show eventually ends right but meanwhile they introduced Night Hawk and eventually Tim Drake ran off to create the Teen Titans and he dies... supposedly at the End of the Teen Titans Tim Drake dies and that's where the story lines meet up with Batman reappearing before Batman Beyond...now Bruce is Hercules...

Namor 1939, Aquaman 1941)
BTW, Captain Marvel premiered Feb 1940... so did the Adventures of Superman Radio Serial... meaning Captain Marvel, who was being designed around the same time, had the powers when Superman gained them...
@@TxSonofLiberty wow I've e never seen so much false information. You must be a Trump supporter
You said guess who steel is copying but then told us like why even ask us to guess
And Now Marvel Has So many Superman Ripoffs so disappointing
Sentry
Hyperion
Blue Marvel
Gladiator
😂
Dc And Marvel Counterparts
Timberwolve ressemble plutôt à Werewolf by night
Deadpool is a baltant ripoff of Ambush Bug.
And Deathstroke...
Deathstroke left the chat
Timberwolves and sabertooth are closer
What about THOR and HAWK MAN? DR. STRANGE AND DR. FATE? ANT MAN AND ATOM? Green arrow and HAWK eye?
Part 2 is coming soon, Stay tuned
Let’s talk about The flash and quicksilver !!
Stay tuned 😉

Now Wolverine is supposed to be Batman except that like the Joker in Batman Wolverine is poor and Homeless in X-Men and in reverse the Joker was made poor and Homeless in Superman...😅
This is a real story...now Fox owns X-Men and Spiderman and the Fantastic 4 and any shows you ever seen on Fox like Captain Planet right that's Marvel and those kids from the show use the Madrians POWER RINGS...there's 10 right the Green Lantern has the Green Ring right and he does make an appearance with the doctor strange because you don't realize that Doctor Strange appeared in both DC and Marvel storylines...now Iron Man is supposed to be Disney right Walt Disney himself...and Iron Man and Spiderman meet up...now the WB is DC comics and they been making movies for ever trying to fix their storyline gaps and retrofitting the missing character either by name or appearance...now on DC sides Batman Beyond is their Spiderman...
漫威只是改編正常的全王,卡卡羅特的兒子,孫悟空的兒子
Captain America copied the Shield, and the creators of Captain America created the Guardian too, and later, they made a new Shield.
I seriously thought that vision was copied by the cyborg
Actually, NO. I always knew they copied each other. The lawsuits gave it away
Steel wasn’t copying iron man. Steel was a response to the DEATH OF SUPERMAN. There was a series called “Rise of the SuperMen”, where John Henry aka Steel, rose up to take Superman’s place. So did a handful of other mf’s, but he was a notable mention..
Cool video bro.
Dc shield- Captain America.
Dc Tarantula (John Law)- Spider-Man.
Tarantula is a criminal and Spiderman is a superhero
@@MrGamingandComics Golden age tarantula, John Law not Catalina Flores
@@gokukakarot5557 John Law not same as Peter Parker. John Law was an criminal while Peter Parker was an teenager
@@MrGamingandComics all I’m saying is that the 1st ever ‘Spider Man’ was originally created by DC. Look it up. Lol

Steel is just superman in steel armour. That doesnt look like an iron man copy cat.
Im pretty sure Deathstroke would off himself after 10min alone with Deadpool
Great video.
Thank you!
I was surprised with Wolverine.
Yes knew all those! Another please!
I would like a part 2
Part 2 is already out! You can check it out on my channel
Thanks
HOLY SHIT I HAD NO IDEA WOLVERINE WASNT ORIGINAL
DC ripped off Fawcett Comics character 'Shazam. ' They'd created a character named 'God Damn.' Both yelled out there name. But one was hit by lightning, giving him the powers of the Gods. The other yelled out, 'God Damn!'. And was struck down by lightning and died.

Nice video it's the same company
Your comment doesn't make any sense what are you or referencing?
marvel and dc the same people lol
I always thought Vision and the Martian were copies
In this video full of random clips, bad background music, and inane voice over...
Thanos is created inspired partly by Darkseid.. Kirby make Darkseid and Jim Starlin.created .Thanos..
Really hard to listen to this with the load music mixed in. Great info though
Uk the background song at 4:31 ?
its pointless to talk about this as comic artist have been shuffeld through DC / Marvel / Vertigo etc
Well, the new Aquaman movie copied one of the Thor films.
lol why the ai voice though
Good luck getting to 1000 nerd brother.
Def Your grate brow 🖤
Nobody thinks every character is original 🙄. Sometimes the copycat is better
John henry irons. The name even gives it away
Somehow the character of Tony Stark was always close to that one of Bruce Wayne. Not their alteregos though.
Bruce Wayne was close to Lamont Cranston AKA The Shadow, Richard Wentworth AKA The Spider (inspired Spider-Man) and Anthony Quinn AKA The Black Bat (inspired Batman, Daredevil and Dr Mid-Nite)
Wait until he finds out about Invincible
Vision also took dc's miracle man design
Steel? a Clone of IronMan? Helllll Noooo
Hawkeye and green arrow which is a copycat
I Will do a part 2 if you want
Green arrow came first and hawkeye came later (but as a villain). Hawkeye later became a hero tho and then there were two archer heroes that were very similar.
Both are copies of the Robin Hood myth. Green Arrow with his Arrow Car, Arrow Lines, and Arrow cave was a Batman ripoff with arrows instead of batarangs.
Steel in not even close to being a copy
Vision was not a rip off. It was a update
100% Agree with you
I can agree with this, Vision has more personality than Red Tornado but it was still a rip-off despite being a better character overall.
@@ShadowShinobi2012 Human Torch came first, Red Tornado based on Human Torch, Human Torch used by Ultron to make Vision... Vision isn't just better, he is the remade original.
You left out the part where Guardian was created by the same person that created Captain America. Have you ever even read a comic book before?
Just because he doesn’t know that doesn’t mean he doesn’t read comics
I thought blue beetle was copy of spider man or via versa. When I sow the movie blue beetle
Original Blue Beetle (Garrett) and Original Spider-Man (Parker) are vastly different characters... Blue Beetle wasn't even DC originally, and wasn't much like Spidey. He popped a pill and gained enhanced strength, agility, and durability, wore chainmail armor, was a cop by day).
What you are comparing is Blue Beetle III, who wears an Cybernetic Alien Parasite to Stark Armored Spider-Man.
I think Wolverine is similar but clearly not the same as Timber wolf. Timber wolf has finger claws, which is actually the same as another Marvel character, Sabretooth. I would say Sabretooth is the Timber wolf copy, not Wolverine.
The Deadpool and Deathstroke characters were created by the same person, and that's why Deadpool is named Wade Wilson after Deathstroke Slade Wilson.
Red Tornado existed in the 40s
We don't need two Supermans and that's what captain America is.
the only similarity between them is the colors of their costumes
deadpool is better then slade imo
