Hi Jason, I couldn't believe how quiet this tool was when you turned it on. Proxon make some really nice tools. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff
This is on my wish list after I get the Proxxon mini wood lathe. I totally agree with your views on Proxxon tools. Not the cheapest but will more than pay for themselves in the long run.
Thanks for the nice demo. I could not fins that many videos that go into more detail than the Proxxon "trailer" video. So if I understand correctly this machine can only be used with Proxxon proprietary sanding discs and not with standard hook and loop discs? This machine seems really nice but that is definitely a big drawback.
Only a drawback if you have multiple machines. I don’t know if there is none branded products that can be used. Give your a supplier a ring and find out
@@ModelkitStuff My concern is more regarding availability. Both in that there are much fewer stores carrying Proxxon accessories, while the hook and loop discs, more or less, can be found in the nearest vending machine. Also what would happen if Proxxon should decide not to sell them anymore? Should it come to that I guess it would be possible to glue another surface to the wheel, perhaps. Another advantage would be that you could get discs with coarser and finer grit. But 80, 150 and 240 go a long way so that's not an issue really. Could possibly be nice though. Anyway after looking around some more and also watching your video again this really seems like the best alternative I can find around here so I think I'll still give it a go . :-)

Jason, I have one of these it’s a great tool. I have vac connection on it all the time and it works.
think mine is on the circular saw I must find it!
@@ModelkitStuffI hope it’s there Jason
A very nice tool. As a plastic modeler, I don't think that it would be of much use. Their Micromot series got me thinking though. Great review Jason!
Jeff, thanks for sharing, on my wish list now, after seeing it it action
Damn this looks good, I want one!
Perhaps I missed it, but is there a connection for a vacuum dust collector?
Yes Ron, 4.10
