I'd love to use the cable car and the double decker buses and trams, to see the beautiful landscapes, the Bank of China Tower that hooked me and Tian Tian Buddha.

I want to go back! Had such a nice week in Hong Kong in July 2009, despite it being in the middle of the rain season with hot, humid days and sudden rainfalls. I managed to see quite a many of the sights featured in this video, a really hectic week indeed. That scyscraper in Kowloon was still under construction back then. Me and my friends stayed just a short walk from there, in a hostel situated in ill-reputed Chungking Mansion at Nathan Road, hahaha... I didn't choose that, but it was an interesting experience! :)
LOL Sir James...it was a very interesting street..every 2 blocks (heading to the Ferry) a guy would stop me trying to sell me a custom made suit. And at Night..the "ladies" were thick as flies. I liked the Rolex watches in the store on the lst floor...big prices in HKD's.

I learn Japanese atm will learn Korean too i already know ひらがな (Hiragana Japanese alphabet) next is Katakana and then Korean Hangul when i know those i will learn words and sentences and other stuff, Japanese uses Chinese characters too called Kanji but i leave those for the last btw many immigrant Chinese people who aren't born and raised in China don't know Chinese properly most know how to talk but not how to write even for Chinese people it's hard to learn, Korean used Chinese characters too till they found it too hard and people were struggling so king Sejung made Hangul for them. I'm 15 so i have alot of time to learn ^^ I will try to learn Mandarin speaking and a little bit characters i will see how far i can get!

They use Cantonese which is 10 times harder than Mandarin (Mandarin is 7th hardest language) Cantonese 3th hardest language in the world. People who know Cantonese do understand Mandarin but people who only know Mandarin won't be able to understand Cantonese properly so if you learn Mandarin for Hong Kong i would say stay with English.

im born and raised in hong kong. have to say that watching this and reading ppl's comments about hong kong is quite interesting for me. i love hong kong. it's got a unique culture. whoever's the ruler, hong kong is, culturally, a place of its own . that's what hong kong should strive to preserve. i witnessed the open ceremony of the big buddha. was a young kid then. i don't like the neighbourhood there becoming so commercialised because that's not what buddhism is about. this is just one example about the government not playing a good role to balance the interests of different stakeholders. another example is more recent. google: Secretive deal on Hong Kong Palace Museum will further erode trust in authorities. all in all, hong kong is a great place despite the political issues.
