Amazing what nature can do when you just leave it to get on with it... This reminds me of when Mt St Helens blew and there were dire predictions of it taking "decades" to regenerate, only a few years later and it was covered with new growth. I used to live next to Big Basin and had many long walks through the forest, so I am so very happy to see this rebirth.
