I had the CCNA Certification and was getting ready to take the CCNP certification when I left the IT field. Their certification tests are brutal. There’s a reason they are the most valuable certifications in the industry. I was about to go into cybersecurity before I became a pastor. I am wanting to get started with ethical hacking so I’m excited about this opportunity.
This is a very good course. It has just enough text, videos and hands on to keep it interesting. The labs are very good. Cisco or any university could easily offer this course as a $40000+ in-person course and even the biggest cheapskate will consider it a bargain and well worth the time spent.

What i love about this course is that they go VERY in-depth with topics and if you're familiar with most topics this will absolutely be a lovely course. I knew most of the things they talked about but to give a example : combining Beef with SET never crossed my mind and that's what makes it stand out in my opinion. Also the scapy + Wireshark was so interesting and i loved doing a lab like that. If you know the fundamentals and wanna strength your knowledge this is perfect :D

Not sure if I am qualified to answer your question but I have had this course queued for months. Early adopters finished this exam a year ago according to Reddit. The only change is now you can earn more than a badge, you have the chance to get a certificate. Sooo, save it and it should be there when you finish exams.

I just got my first IT job and they have me do a range of things, and I have really gotten into cyber security recently so I am gunna do this and update as much as I could
David i really hope you read this. I have been trying to find a job for so long in security now and my biggest frustration is this : They tell me i am qualified for the job but EVERY SINGLE TIME they reject me because i have no work expierence. Can somebody tell me how i can break out of this hellish cycle? They always speak very high of me and are impressed, but the moment HR looks at my "work experience" they reject me... I hope anyone could give me advice on how i can actually win this battle and get hired.... I'm honestly tired of all the rejection because of backward logic from the HR, and companies....

I am not a cyber security expert by any means, but I do work in the AI/ML space. To my knowledge there aren’t any AI/ML Algorithms that can crack current encryption methods. I think the bigger threat is quantum computing and the recent advances in that space.
In oder to get a certificate you must finish the course then sign in to CTF challenge which is $100...so I have one question is the ethical hacking course really free?

Dumb question here - with the constant development of AI how is this training not already obsolete?

I don't understand your question. The course is free on Cisco. Netacad. The cert costs money on Cisco U. They are two separate things.
