- The POWER of Fasting You HAVE TO Know! Everyone of importance in the Bible practiced fasting: Moses, David, Elijah, Esther, Daniel, Anna, Paul, Jesus, just to name a few. When Jesus taught on fasting, He would say “When you fast” not “If you fast”. He assumed that we would fast.

I was supposed to end my fast today. But, I failed on my 8th day. I felt like it was an achievement to reach the 7th day so I became complacent and totally let go of the idea that fasting is powerful. Tonight, I come to God once again to ask for another chance to do it right. Tomorrow will be my birthday, I ask God to allow me to celebrate and have feast. On Feb 4, I will start again. The story of Hannah has been using by God to speak to me. That's the reason why I am certain, God is calling me to do it again. Please pray for me. 🙂

My wife and I are on a 40 day fast . We are on day 32 an came across this teaching . we are very adominant about the Biblical principle of fasting and prayer.
Both of you guys. Together are stronger 💪. Am happy to hear about husband and wife fasting together. Please 🙏🙏 for me. My husband never fast with me. we go to church and sometimes we read the bible together. But I asked him to fast with me and he never does. You message encouraged me. I am in a fasting- period right now and at the same time I‘ve been asked to give a contribution for our pastor‘s 20th annyversary. This morning I asked Jesus what word and what gift should I bring? He sayd: „ create an Id- Money -Vip- card in gold for in the wallet and write on it: I gave you my name as a gift.“ create it for the whole community. Say: they can use it at anytime for everything. Everything he has preached for the past 20 years is includet in it.“

The soul and spirit fights. If your soul only knows to depend on “listening to the body”, your soul will fight your spirit. Wow. The insight Pastor Vlad has! “We all have soul sicknesses”
“Until you train your soul to go to the sources, the Holy Spirit. What fasting does it exposes to toxic thoughts, the negative emotions, how the body deals with negative thoughts.”…. The Holy Spirit wants to fix the connection to these things! God wants to cleanse you. Wow! New age taught me to connect to my body. Now I understand why that was wrong. When you “listen to your body” you’re only reacting in the fight instead of fighting it at the source!

Our church does month of fasting in November. Then I fast on Saturday. Has not been easy with a teen who is annoyed with Jesus, Covid and school. See why I need to fast? so in a while I got speaking in tongues. I was trying to have that so long. One night I just heard ministry, and it said say this Please fill me Holy Spirit. It was unexpected, and I had such a feeling I can do something more for God. Went to worship practice, but I am not good at playing piano by ear. I have been playing piano more, and also guitar. Hope to play songs as a blessing. Its already feeling I have faith, more than listening to my feelings (self accusing etc). In the morning I have felt good, always peaceful sleep. The loneliness of Covid is like a perfect time to Take time and be focussed on Jesus. I can often delay eating..it is not all consuming to me to eat at certain times. Hungry for Jesus, gathering w believers and praying, worship (safely, we Have not been bothered by Health department, they checked we do right protocols at church, AND, i think because we fast, We got this Freedom, no hassles to gather in small groups. God answers the submitting with favor. Not every area of my life is going smooth, yet I keep leaning onto Gods command, put my wants aside..it will not be for nothing. Self control will be all my life, so Its no point arguing not yet. Nothing to lose..it is to bring me to Greater blessings, service unto the Lord Is the gift. Amen
Wow, I thank God for this video that I found just now. I was just crying from the first few seconds of Pastor Vlad's teaching all throughout and Thanking Jesus...for both the videos/teachings I watch about Fasting. This is my 8th day of Fasting out of the 21 days of Fasting. I can see and feel how God has really crushed my spirit making me Humble. Thank you for such a greater understanding of fasting, and . seeking God , understanding why we need to fast. To grow in Christ , to value the treasure within ( the Holy Spirit) has been grieved because the church did not go into detail as to what a treasure we have in God. Thank you for opening my understanding to why I haven’t grown as I should. God bless you for an awesome message of the Holy Spirit. The treasure that has been neglected. If only more pastors would teach and preach on the Holy Spirit and on fasting. This is why the body of Christ is weak. We need a divine revelation of who we are in Christ. 1. Your container shouldnt dictate u. your flesh should know that it wont get what it wants but what u allow it.
2. Cleanseness comes before clarity.
3. It enables u to treasure What should b treasured
4. The power of God will overflow through u, which is extraordinary. When u fast, u come out with power.
5. Increases your capacity to endure persecution & pressure.

I have had a very bad experience in the previous church I was in and faced some trauma and trust issues because of it but I thank God for showing me your teachings, I am almost ready to go find another church again. Thank you for being an example of a true follower of Christ.
