As a guy who’s surfed a lot of G’s and a lot of Malibu’s, including 220’s and 240’s (my personal favorite being the 220) this comparison was pretty spot on. It’s also worth nothing that in my experience it’s been easier to get an out-of-the box surf wave with the G. On the other hand, if you’re willing to spend time messing with ballast/wedge/speed, the M series wave is unbeatable. 100% depends on what you want.
The m220 total ballast is including plug and play bags the m240 doesn’t have plug and play so you could put lead in if you wanted. I have a M240 and love it and was making this same debate. Also important to look at prop rotation and which side you surf on the was a big decision maker for me.
@@bkim6300 I think you can compare anything with any level of information. I'm simply providing thoughts and opinions; not trying to convince anyone to do anything.
I agree the G23 is absolutely a premium exclusive boat and is priced so.

Which 2 boats would you like me to compare? I will give you my thoughts.
How do you compare boats unless you physically drive/surf/board them?
