I'm afraid, even after he has explained the strange things he did in "Love and Friendship," I still don't like many of them. I don't like Mrs. Johnson being an American. She has a grating voice. I can't believe that any adult in England alive at that time would not have eaten green peas. I don't find Frederica's voice enchanting. And there are some other things. But at least I now know why the moviemakers did what they did. Having listened to him, I'm amazed the films are as good as they are! I wish he had better eye contact with his audience, but I had so many college professors who lectured like that it doesn't really bother me. Takes me back to my youth!
This is good stuff. Whit + Hillsdale! Who knew?
I live in the UK and stayed up until two or three after midnight to watch this live. Very funny!
Wow! I am bingeing on Hillsdale College videos due to the recent politics... but this was an unexpected, well surprise!
🌞Wish I had gone to
HILLSDALE🌞
Thanks!
