I’ve found a few sites of my own. Wotton-Under-Edge has a quarry dump which is great for echinoids, and keynsham has the best ammonites I’ve yet come across.
This is actually very helpful. I hope some people use this advice. One way I find fossil sites it look for geological maps of small areas I’m going to. Recently I found a Cretaceous shell layer at an ice rink in Carlsbad CA.
Glad you enjoyed it. Geology maps are a great tool for finding fossil beds. I cant believe I didnt include that in this video. Guess I'll have to do an update vid in the future!
Very informational! Thank you so much! I've became curious in fossil hunting after finding some lepidodendron in a local creek. Looking forward to trying this advice out!
there is no secret, you just have to look. The sad reality is that most rock exposure hold no fossils, so be sure to check any outcrops possible. It will also help to research any fossils found for that formation so you have an idea of what you should be looking for.

Can you pls tell me where to look?
Yeah, this wouldn't work for any latin American country, from Peru here, you need to go the old way and study.
As i say Geology is the Keyology.
