Very instructive and helpful. I would love to have a class in fossil identification. Also gave me hope that a bone-like specimen I have may indeed be a bone
Awesome vid! I found what appears to be a beautiful 3 inch long X 1 1 1/2 inch wide fang type of tooth that I have no clue how to get checked out. It even has even discoloration all around the gum line and where the roots would be. I found it in the great PNW while out in the woods. Sure wish I could find a way to have it identified. Jes C
Hopefully I can find out what kind of fossil that I have and I barely know anything about this fossil but the only things that I now about it is that I found it in Lake Huron up by mackinaw city and I also just noticed that it looks like a shell but I am not entirely sure what it is and the fossil is in my profile picture.
You could always take your object to your local natural history museum and have one of their experts help you out. Or if you want one of our experts to identify your object, message us via social media or through our website. Thanks!

You can contact natural history museum, or you can try to find a paleontologist on the internet that would be willing to help, which in most cases they Are. Hope you found something amazing😊.
