    best detail tutorial video, is there any dysfunction electronics or etc caused by the side effects of this modifications?

      Almost none. Of course, ultrasound sensor cleaning will not work as there is no glass to vibrate.

      How about focusing? Last week I send my camera to local repair/service to remove ir pass then him tell me camera not fully focus and I think maybe to install clip filter is work…I am still waiting the camera to test in weekend 😅

      To focus properly the sensor needs to moved by about 0.3 mm to the front. @@benzuan5232

      How does one move the sensor .3mm? Or can you get around this by manual focusing?

    Here is a cry for help. Searched the Web for help but nada. All pug back together and everything working. BUT .. live view will only stay on for a split second. Anyone experienced similar? Glad you inspired me to dive in. Thanks

      Hmmm. Seems like some cable is not properly connected. These cameras usually are not temperamental.

    Hey, man. Can you pinpoint in a video where I can see the internal battery/capacitor for this camera? I need to hard reset mine, so hopefully it goes back to normal.

    • @RemusLt
      @RemusLt  4 месяца назад

      What’s wrong with your camera? There is one large capacitor, but I'm not sure if that's the one you're referring to, as it's for the flash and has a high voltage. I don’t remember where the small battery is located; I’ll need to go through a few videos to check.

      I haven't seen a small battery in this camera. Maybe it's behind those shields.

      @@RemusLt Mine is stuck in some safe mode that does not allow live view, playback or video recording. I've read that this was because it was overheated at some point. I was hoping a hard reset might fix it. No other solution I can think of.
      Thank you for your answer.

    Hey there. I have a D3200 that I was able to get a while ago for free and its just sitting collecting dust. So I decided to try and see if I can turn it into a full spectrum camera. I have one question. When you remove that filter off the sensor. Do you have to put a replacement filter over the sensor or leave it as is. I was reading another tear down from "Life Pixel" wear they recommended there replacement filters. If i can get away with just leaving the filter off. That would keep me from spending to much money

    Hello, I just attempted a mod on my own d3200. I now get an “error. press shutter release button again”. is there a way to fix this? have you run into the same problem?

    Hey! Thanks for posting these vids! Just bought a 3200 to do this on. But I do have one question, when comparing the three videos you have on this camera, your approach to shims seems different on each one?- maybe I’m wrong ( watching on a small screen) but it seems that on one of the cameras you place two shims under the top sensor mounting holes, then on the second one you seem to place just the top right, and on this one none at all. What would be the reasoning behind this? - that’s the only part of the project I’m a bit scared of, since I don’t fully understand it. Thanks in advance!

    • @danielkreger528
      @danielkreger528 10 месяцев назад

      On the little knowledge I have, I would assume that this is the correct approach, leaving all the shims out to bring the sensor closer

    • @RemusLt
      @RemusLt  10 месяцев назад

      Sometimes those shims are not the same thickness . That's why I need to use my shims to compensate....@@danielkreger528
