They Had Caron Butler, Wade, Brian Grand, Lamar Odom, Eddie Jones etc. I felt robbed when we got Shaq, would rather see Wade grow with that core than win a quick championship. The Heat upset the Bucks and the Celtics. The Nuggets upset The Clippers. But the Lakers stayed the course and when everyone doubted them they continued to win! In adverse conditions. And brought it home where it belongs. The Heat and Jimmy Butler gave us a battle. Haven't seen 2 Players fight it out like that since Magic and bird. Look at Mario Chalmers, Norris Cole, Hassan Whiteside, Tyler Johnson, Dion Waiters, Josh Richardson, Derrick Jones Jr, Duncan Robinson, Kendrick Nunn, etc. These guys were non-known prospects. But somehow the Miami Heat were able to maximize on utilizing them. The Heat has something that most teams don't have, which is an actually damn good system. An entire system from management, to staff, to the players.
Aside from that is the mindset and culture of the entire franchise of being always in a win-now mode, never tank, and to always always work hard. The culture builds up and it translates to games. Compare it to the other teams who purposely lose games and tank for draft picks, a different kind of culture builds up in which to them losing is "okay". That's why you have teams like the Wizards, 76ers, Timberwolves, who doesn't seem to get over the hump. They don't have that same discipline and approach to the game of actually wanting to win and they have these players that only play the game for the shoes, the guccis, and cars, and that's fine for them. While the Heat don't take players for their talent, but for their toughness, their willingness to work hard, and the mindset to win. They have a team who mind you might not be the most talented but they're indeed full of dogs. Take note, the Miami Heat perhaps has the most strict coaching staff today and if you don't work hard and follow their guidance then you're just not fit for them. In order to be successful in the league, you just don't need talent, or a good coach. It all starts from the franchise, its system, and the culture it builds that even if your team just sucks, always work hard, and always try to win no matter what.

Anybody who plays fantasy basketball and had Hassan Whiteside on their team the past couple years knew what a problem Bam Adebayo was going to be. You'd always be frustrated that Spo kept playing Bam so much, but you knew in real world basketball that was actually the right move. Bam was the future. Grabbed him so fast in last year's fantasy draft after Heat traded Whiteside to Portland and loved seeing his stat line every night. This guy is so versatile on both sides of the floor. Sadly the Heat don't have a chance against LA with him sitting out.

I'm early ASF today. Honestly Miami has been my favorite team since 2014 and that will never change. I knew they'd get there eventually just not this quick and WELL. They are going on an AMAZING run in the bubble and even though they actually might not, if they take this Championship home, they will go from one of the most underrated to BEST teams in the NBA.

Jimmy Butler - Perennial All- Star, 10-11th best player in the NBA. One of the best leaders in the NBA. Inspirational guy who gives 100% effort at all times.
Bam Adebayo - Future superstar and DPOY, Best big behind Anthony Davis. Created new position in the NBA. Best defensive player in the NBA. Brings the ball up and passes like a point guard. Incredibly dangerous on the elbow, good mid-range shooter and amazing passer.
Goran Dragic -All-star. Craftiest player in the NBA. One of the best scoring guards and one of the best players in this years playoffs. Our most consistent offensive player.
Tyler Herro- One of the best rookies of all time. Smoothest player I’ve ever seen. Incredibly deep offensive skillset. Can score off the dribble from 3 or finish in the paint. Wet Steph curry like touch. Can rebound like a center. Cold-blooded, Kobe mentality. Averaged close to 20 ppg in the ECF. 17 4th quarter points in game 4, 10 4th quarter points in game 6 to close out the Celtics.
Duncan Robinson - Best 3- point shooter in the NBA this year. His usage rate is extremely high, and he still shoots 45% from 3 (a good amount of them contested too). Crazy under dog story. Improved drastically on the defensive end in the bubble.
Kendrick Nunn - second in ROTY behind Ja. Incredible scorer. Hasn’t played much in the playoffs.
Andre Iguodala - finals MVP. Knows how to make good teams great. Still a fantastic defensive player and can stroke it from 3.
Jae Crowder - 3 and D god. Sniper Jae. Amazing on defense. Can shoot the lights out when he’s on.
Derrick Jones Jr- Dunk Contest Champion. High impact defender. Can straight up lock down players like lebron for a few key possessions when needed to.
Udonis Haslem: 3 time NBA champ. Backbone of Heat Culture. The Yoda of the Heat
Meyers Leonard- sexy cheerleader who gets the boys going. Intimidates the opposition
Solomon Hill - homeless guy who loiters around the bench

Pat Riley and some luck. I mean, Riley even gave us Spo. The man knows how to run an organization. It also helps when you have an owner like Micky Arison who doesn't hinder the day to day operations. I'm just glad Riley and Wade made up cause it felt wrong when they got into it over Wade's departure. It felt like that was gonna ruin the organization's family vibe.
