Kokatat Leviathan PFD In Depth Review - 18 Months of Use

- 18 months ago I purchased the Kokatat Leviathan as my new PFD for Kayak Fishing. This is my In Depth Review of the Kokatat Leviathan after 18 months of hard use and testing.
Some people review gear they have barely used... not the case here. I highly recommend this PFD, it has held up despite being stored improperly, tossed around, and just generally used hard. I have fallen out of my kayak with this on, and floated. It works.
You can get more info and purchase here - amzn.to/2Ounz54
It helps the channel if your purchase but I do recommend visiting your local Kayak Shop to try one on or maybe even demo one on the water.

You fell in, that's how you wash a PFD
Haha, good point!
LOL
You can repair the hole by heating up a flathead screwdriver then carefully melt the nilon around the tair.
Excellent review. Glad you have worn it and know for sure it is to your liking. Not like an "unboxing". Thanks.
I just bought this PFD and have used it about 5 trips. I am a salt water inshore guy in Florida. I like the pockets because they are my tackle box. It’s not bad to have a lot of pockets. You don’t have to use them all but if there aren’t enough you can’t add them. Lol. I do wish the zipper pulls on the pockets you highlighted at the end pulled in the other direction. That much be a much better design. Thank you for the video.
Lol, I see your point on the pockets and I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like the zippers are wonky.
I've owned one for one full season and I love it as well. I got it after watching your trip to Headwaters. I highly recommend it.
They are great PFDs, glad you like it.
Excellent Review! I clicked your A'zon link, but it went to a no longer available display. So I clicked directly to the other Leviathan XXL Orange on A'zon and Clicked Buy. Hopefully that worked. Sub'ed! 😀
Very good in-depth review of this PFD and I watched the video when you were at the store looking at a 5 PFDs good one too. Thanks for your opinion, and BTW I like that it's a non PVC foam pfd as I have chemical allergies to contend with.
Great review
Fantastic work excellent footage!👍🏾🎣💯
Thanks!
Thank you , very good info and review....
Thanks!!!
Love the fishing pole pointer lol
Gotta improvise sometimes! Lol
I know this video is a few years old, I'm looking to possibly get the Leviathan. I am nervous though about how hot it might get with the thick padding. I'm in Pensacola FL and the humidity definitely gets high here, although the winds help a bit. Did you have any problems with over heating or just getting hot quickly?
My other possible PFD I was thinking was the Old Town Lure Angler because supposedly it keeps you cool.
Great review 👍
Thanks!!!
I fell asleep, j/k. Good overall review, still funny you went swimming, still good you got nearly everything back from said swim. see ya in the next one bud. i still owe you some dang jerky.
I see you have the xl/xxl, im about 6’/240lbs and trying to figure out what size to order!
Just bought one each for the wife and I today.
Thanks for this video. On another note, where can I get that patch from the Wyatt Earp Movie.
You can find that patch here! amzn.to/39TIiH3 thanks for watching!
Needs more pockets. Yes. Def more pockets.
No! It has enough pockets! Lol
