FAQs:
WHO ARE THESE ACTORS AND WHY ARE THEY GIRLS? They are the original 1999 voice actors. Gon, Kurapika, Leorio, Killua, and Hisoka are all the original voice actors for the 1999 series. Illumi and Kalluto were originally played by girls, so it would make sense that the stage characters would also be played by women for their vocal quality and to be more accurate to the anime.
WHERE IS ALLUKA? This musical was performed from 2000 to 2001 and Alluka was first shown in chapter 229 which was released in 2005. Alluka probably hadn't even been thought of yet.
The full musical based on Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter X Hunter. I do not own this. All the rights go to their respective owners.

She’s a Broadway actress and not the actual voice actor for Illumi for any of the series. People mistaken this 😅 it’s only Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio, Hisoka voice actors who played their actual parts.

As a theater person, it's kind of sad to see that the other actors were not appreciated much by the audience. The other actors did the same efforts as everyone did and so they deserve applause worthy of their performance. This really makes me sad.

its amazing how in the past the anime musical is acted by the real voice actors and not celebrities. The voice of characters represent the characters so well when they have a celebrity with a totally different voice acting as the character in musical it just doesnt feel right anymore.

omg...i really love kurapika in this.... i was like hnnnnngh all the time... especially when he started singing. And lol the fangirls xD during 1:00:03 Kurapika took the credits like "yea im fabulous"... during some of the Leopika scenes, the fangirls were like KYAAA! xD and during the last charac intro credits, he got the most fan-girling xD... and btw, they did a really great job acting... the actress for Gon felt him so much that she managed to cry. Killua shows the exact anger his charac would show. Kurapika is always cute and the smart one. Leorio... well, he's exactly Leorio! xD They did great!!! Definitely worth the two hours!

ハンターハンターは初期アニメが永遠に好き、声優も絵柄もたまに憲生氏が神作画担当してくれたところも、OPのおはようとか太陽は夜も輝くとか、BGMとかちょっと闇があってでもあったかいっていう原作の雰囲気がすごい出てて、作成陣も原作愛してんだなぁてのが伝わってきて、だから初期が永遠に好き、ゴンキルアクラピカレオリオヒソカの声も初期のがベストすぎて、未だに定期的に見返してる
役者さん達のアニメの理解度と完成度が高すぎて舞台生で見たかったー！
もう一回やってくれたらいいのに
