excellent performance . I became a real Mary Wilson groupie in the 1980's and saw her shows countless times. She was a real trouper and delighted audiences everywhere she went and was exceptionally kind to everyone she met and worked with. She considered herself an entertainer rather than a great singer but I thought she was both and a fine thoughtful person as well.
I've been a Fan of Mary Wilson for years and I think this is her best recorded solo concert ever. I wish this had been released on DVD instead of the "Live at The Sands" concert. Mary sounds and looks sensational. I can't put into words how much I'll miss her sultry voice and supreme elegance. Rest In Heavenly Peace Mary.
Continue to rest in peace The legendary Mary Wilson ⭐❤️❤️🙏🏾🕊️ you will forever and always be a star and a supreme. And y'all need to stop commenting negative things about Mary she's no longer here to defend herself against you negative obsessive Diana Ross Stan's.
I saw Mary Wilson and The Supremes perform at a gay bar called The Roundup Saloon in Austin Texas in 1983. Mary loved and played to the men who showed up in in glamour drag for the concert. The manager told me it was also in their contract to have plenty of Kentucky Fried Chicken available in their dressing room. There was less than a hundred people in attendance
You can call me a fool but I said my peace and we are entitled to our own opinions and if u don’t see the resemblance of her with gowns her wraps the hair then use a FOOL!!!! God bless
@@judethaddeus9856 I never said that but everyone even Patti said it. Diana basically started it for black woman because she was changing her wardrobe for every session the furs, shawls and long gowns and elaborate shows. What black female performer was doing that in the 70s. I’m waiting
She Did Blend Well With All Her Co-Workers.. She Does Well In Concerts.. She can Sing Lead.. She Has A Similar Voice To Lead Singer Shirley Of The Shirelles..
My God, she is a lesson in trying and never giving up. She tried so hard, and she never gave up. I so wish she could've reached stardom on her own. I do think she desreved it. She was an incrediblelady, and late in life, she found her true voice.
May she Rest in peace. But... I must say the Supreme's songs just don't sound the same unless Diana Ross is singing the lead. Mary was certainly inspired by Diana Ross. Stage regalia, mannerisms and all. Amazing how much she took from Diana Ross style in this concert as well as in many other videos. Strange...Mary spent so much of her career speaking not so nice about Diana but she did her best copy of her in her stage shows.
Hi I like your comment very much but Mary Wilson could sing she didn't have the lead for the Supremes Diana Ross have the sound and I enjoyed them both

she was beautiful and amazing and a legend.
Would be nice if a song list was included
If you think about it she could do lead and the back up parts on the Supremes tunes. Lol
No, no she couldn’t
🙏
Mary was not a lead singer, the years have proven this. Having said that she was apart of something ICONIC and that is more than most. RIP Mary..

@@anthonywinn9651 you know, Diana Ross is not the only person on the planet who wears wigs and gowns…

@@judethaddeus9856 jus like Oprah said about the supremes they were flashy and not a lot of female groups was dressing like them.

She even hold the mike like Ms Ross, hate and resentments are destructive behavior.
Mary sounds great, even greater now.
It never happened for Mary
That's sad, because she certainly tried.

I recognize Kaaren Ragland; is the second background singer Sylvia Cox?
Linda Evans

She couldn’t really sing but was very fun to watch!! I wish I was around for the days of the Supremes so I could have seen her with them
