One of my buddies played with Joe out towards in St Thomas when they were younger. He said he was way better than all of the other kids but was a great guy he said. Seems like a classy guy.

I moved to London to be closer to my buddy who was diagnosed with ALS while he received treatment. We did the ALS walk there together and for the 2 years after he died. I used to see the Baker crew with blended Bruins/Sharks shirts. I know what it’s like to have your heart broken by ALS. I wish all of you strength, dignity and peace. God bless you. And god bless all those touched by this awful disease.
He is more alive now than he ever was. I believe Jesus Christ took him peacefully in His mighty but gentle arms and brought Steve home. To his eternal home. Joe Thornton is blessed with the Holy Spirit of God in his heart. This is exactly how the love of Christ plays out in this evil and dark world! Praise God!
