- In January, I visited Ukraine to explore the Kyiv Oblast region; Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the abandoned city of Pripyat, and downtown Kyiv. The easiest way for me to return home to America was with Air France via Paris CDG. The business class product you'll find on Air France's domestic aircraft might be a let-down if you're not familiar with the disappointing standard that is intra-Europe flights. The only major pro compared to US airlines is the meal they almost always serve, even on super quick flights!

I've visited Kyiv last winter as well. I saw a beatiful, modern and living city, and hundreds of really high office buildings under construction. It's really sad to see pictures of tanks driving on the streets that I've been on.

Great video Q! I filmed the take-off from BOS and landing in MIA with my cell phone. It was not bad at all, but not as good as yours and Chris's. I spent the month of May in Malden MA and came back to Brazil on the 31st. Thanks for sharing!
Great TR as always, but wow, would love to see some video of the abandoned Pripyat you visited, and a video tour of Chernobyl. That would be awesome to see. These are destinations few get to see in person.
Great trip report and review of the Air France service. I flew them recently in business and also found the presentation of the meal nice, but the actual meal itself wasn't for me. Love watching the review - thanks for sharing from this fellow trip reporter.

I have never been to Ukraine at all , I’ve always wanted to go there , it looks so beautiful in this one.
So strange they ran out of water, and I think their entree selection could have been better. That’s awesome though that you got to fly on a plane that had the special sky team livery!
Absolutely hate it when you get an economy seat for a business class product.

I went on an a320 from Oran-Paris. I was in economy class. It was an ok plane. The seats can be bumped easily when a women was trying to sit when she had back surgery. The legroom is not much.
Economy looks better than business tbh. Excellent report nonetheless!

I watch this video one year later the begginning of Ukraine war. It's hard to imagine that a month after your flight, the country is in war 😢 I hope for ukrainian to know peace one day
Nice. I had planned to visit Ukraine this summer but unfortunately that can not happen for the time being. Tragedy what Russia has been allowed to do there. Hopefully ends soon.
Absolutely abhorrent/sickening as to what’s happening in the Ukraine. There’s just no words to watch the opening scenes of the vibrant city and think of what it is now. 😢😡

I flew with Air France to Paris from Minneapolis in 2021 and the requirement to switch masks was actually made by the French Government and Air France has to follow that rule.
Sometime u can eat some vegetable and fruit instead of coke burgers and snacks. 😂
