Damn the 'mickey' part broke me 😂
In many European cities (Lisbon, Bordeaux, Paris, Cordoba, Granada, just to name a few I have recently visited) service staff don't expect a tip and if you do leave something they are grateful for it. The concept of a living wage is foreign to us in Canada and you folks in the US. Tipping needs to go back to being a recognition for service beyond what was expected, and not a way to prop up salaries or worse, be used by company owners to increase profit margins.
100%
I need a little Jared on my pocket when I go to hotels 😂😂😂😂. LOVE IT! 🙌🏼❤
Respect on not doing gambling adds
This raw talk is 💰! I hate hidden fee bullshit. No coffee! 😂.
100% with you on tipping and fees. If you do something extra of value for me, you may earn a tip, but if it’s part of the expected service, include it.
I also tip the staff who serve the breakfast at hotels. They get to clean up after all the slobs who plow through the free breakfast counter.
My old flame's name was Karly, that cracked me up.😂
Tipping should have been eliminated years ago. Just pay people a reasonable wage and move on.
That is a fact America is one of the only countries that does the whole tipping thing one of the reasons why they do tipping is because that gives like pizza deliveries Uber Eats and other jobs. The ability to pay them under minimum wage so the rest of the income. That the employee make is from the general public which is disgusting
100% agree one your stance on tipping and extra fees. I hate it with an absolut passion. Here in Germany it hasn’t escalated to U.S.-levels, but it’s getting worse fast. Just name the real price upfront and pay the staff a decent wage. Shouldn’t be so hard. If you still want to tip, go ahead. But it definitely shouldn’t be expected.
Is there a branded " Fro-Ho" chain of hotels possibly in the future? The add on fees and "amenity" charges are an insult to the customer and people really need to start pushing back if not out right refusing to pay,
I hate the service charge at restaurants and when you ask if the wait staff get it they'll tell you that management keep most of it. I get it taken off the bill and give the staff cash.
You should come to Australia we don't tip unless we want to . would love your take on our sporting stadiums especially the Mcg with its size and history and what's in the same precinct tennis soccer/rugby
That iJustine comment was accurate I've never seen her once say a product was bad a lot of her videos four certain products seem like a commercial period for the company like hey check this out it's the next best thing
Bro was tweaking on this one 💀💀💀
Agree 100% on tipping it's getting out of hand! Even more egregious are "junk fees" like you rightfully ranted about regarding you hotel stay and back of the house fees in restaurants. They are and have been out of hand and for a very long time. Hotels, resorts, attractions, airlines, Ticketmaster, and other businesses have elevated obfuscation of those fees to an art and its got to stop! They are a revenue stream for those that charge them and usualy are not fully disclosed, disguised or sprung on the customer at the last minute.
Secondly, B&H is closed for Shavuot (Shavous). It commemorates when Moses received the Ten Commandments on Mt. Sinai. Coincidentally, the Ten Commandments ties in to your rant on junk fees etc. Commandment #6 states, "Thou shall not steal". Perhaps I paid more attention in Hebrew School than I thought I did and certainly don't fault you for not knowing about Shavout.
Still no video?
right now, we're not going to do video.
Jared’s not wrong. I too absolutely hate hidden hotel fees or hidden fees in general. It’s dirtyyyy
I wonder if Jared knows the song he was singing is a Muppet song. The Muppets are owned by Disney
This 'convenience fee', what utter nonsense, I hope this shit doesn't spread to the UK. Will be back in NYC later this year, have heard tipping is totally out of control now. Also heard worrying things suggesting it's no longer safe to walk around there with a nice camera. Used to shoot around Mid-Town after dark quite happily on previous visits. Have things changed that much over there?
If you want a suggestion for a nice restaurant near you, try Olive Garden. All you can eat bread.
Select the tip you will leave.
25% 35% 50%.
Instead of review call it a first hands on
Or first look
Mickey Mouse rant was gold
I agree with you on all these fees and unreasonable tipping!
