Hey, y'all! My second apartment tour is finally here! My home decor style is boho, and in this apartment, it's become more boho luxury. The macrame wall hangings, plants, and textures are still here, but now I have lots of nice brass finishes built into the apartment and huge windows that really stand out.
I got most of my apartment decor from World Market, West Elm, Target, and Urban Outfitters. I hope you enjoy!

Thank y’all for all the sweet comments!! The island came with the apartment. One side has cabinets that match the kitchen 😊Also, thank you all for the notes re: the stalker foolishness. Of course I'm not expecting anyone on the internet to protect me, but I'm a content creator, and I'll be doggone if I let one idiot silence me.

BEAUTIFUL apartment! All I could think was how much our styles. The acrylic chairs with the gold/brass finish confirmed it lol. I like the idea of the console table as a desk. You have decorated and places everything beautifully. This was inspiring. I'm going to Target and Marshalls!

If you struggle with gnats or flies I 10/10 recommend a Katchy. I live in a rural around surrounded my livestock so the bugs can get a little overwhelming during monsoon time. Got one of those Katchys and I hardly see any in my house anymore.

I think it is just like you said a modern Boho or cleaner look. You still kept the Boho vibe. I would get rugs too I think that will help and I too am looking for a great shoe rack that looks nice.
I prefer the look of snake plants all spread out. I gotta get some or one lol and I love that island bookcase and chair area. That makes such a gorgeous setup! Balcony has a gorgeous setup too

About the Snake Plant - try using those mini claw clips, they’re usually used for hair. You can join some of the leaves together and because they’re neutral colors it’ll look fine.

I think keeping the carpet could work for you because it adds to the homey, warm feeling of the apartment. Love the browns and brass!

Hey girl, water your plants with a couple drops of neem oil diluted in. It really works in preventing gnats!
Not you with the Segway ninebot 😫 I picked one up a few weeks ago. Sooooo helpful for getting around dc and much more practical than a car IMO.

Beautiful apartment! Love all the plants and earthy colors. You can stop fungus gnats from breeding by mixing water with neem oil and spraying it on the topsoil of your potted plant. One or two sprays did the trick for me.

I love the way you managed to balance aesthetics and functionality. Some details such as the furniture, the color palette you have chosen, the pieces of art and the general aesthetic greatly favor your Boho style. For example, the mirror, the magazine rack, and the floor lamp make such a good team that they look like part of a collection. I love your decorating style, it's so clean and chic and boho. Those brass accents really add a nice pop to the whole aesthetic too. I also have never seen brass/gold accents whenever I go apartment searching. They're usually silver or black. I always have the desire to switch out the cabinet handles and stuff but never actually do so it's nice you found a place that had those in place for you already.
Love the apartment! So pretty 😍 As for your big salt lamp, check the bottom for screws to see if it can be opened. The bulb inside may have just blown out and needs to be changed. Switch it out and see if that helps. Hope it does ❤️

Get a diffuser with peppermint oil !! gnats hate the smell. I actually put some on a Q-tip and placed it in the plant causing the gnats
