You want quotes? Colossians 3:22 "Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord." Exodus 21:20-21 (ESV) 20 “When a man strikes his slave, male or female, with a rod and the slave dies under his hand, he shall be avenged. 21 But if the slave survives a day or two, he is not to be avenged, for the slave is his money." (So it's okay to beat your slave, just as long as they survive, because you own them). And just in case you think the old testament doesn't count for some reason: "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place.” (Matthew 5:17) Your religion condones slavery and has slave codes. Did Jesus come along and give a clear instruction like "Dont own people"? No. No he did not. If you are a true believer then you obviously support every divine word in the bible right? You certainly wouldn't cherry pick the good bits and ignore the parts that are just flat out abhorrent and repugnant right?
Nothing wrong with the old testament at all. Also in regards to the verse I kind of get stuck on something for awhile and see how it applies to my life. I'm not any sort of example and have never claimed to be. That verse has helped me tremendously recently. I haven't been to church in over a year, but I'm a believer and He helps my life. Take care.
Imagine working for 20 years, 12-16 hours a day, 6-7 days a week, developing your skills and honing every aspect of your game to become one of the top 30 or so players on the entire planet at your particular position, so that you have the ability to make incredibly acrobatic plays under the highest of pressure and some guy on RUclips calls it luck. Lol
I was at the nationals game at 2:15 when I was 10 and remember coming back to my travel ball team a few days later and my coach telling all the kids how lucky I was to see an almost perfect game.
Vid is great and some of this stuff is absolutely insane, however I'm a bit shocked the Pirates/Cubs game ending bloop fall isn't on here leading to the Cubs walk off win. That had been one of the craziest things I'd ever seen lol.
I think another one that should have been on here. Again its a CFL game (Seems like NHL and CFL is the lowest on these videos) was the Grey Cup this year. Off two deflections and caught for a interception to win the Grey Cup. Check it out it was a good 100% luck moment
@@coreyhill681 no it wasnt haha but its obvious how murica-centric you are. Maybe add the most popular sport in the world if you want a complete list for one..
As several have said, there was a lot of skill on many of these. Some mostly luck, maybe even a couple all luck, but also a lot where skill was very much involved. Probably the luckiest play, though, that I've witnessed, was a Wild game, where the guy back-handed it to just dump it into the zone so they could do a shift change. He didn't even look where he was sending it, he was breaking for the bench. But it took a weird bounce, and went in as a goal...
The 2007 final play of the University of Hawaii at home vs University of Washington who were up 21 points in the first Quarter. UH scores 28 unanswered points to take the lead and with 35 seconds left, UW in 3 plays is down to first and goal. The final play was UW final pass into the end zone, the ball falls off the receiver, off his foot, and into a UH defender for the interception to end UW's drive and secure the win for UH to stay undefeated at 12-0.
There is actually a great video on Jomboy’s page that when slowed down shows the catcher swiped right through and completely missed him. That was a great call and the umpire got completely flamed for it though he could have made a lazy call that he was out based on an assumption just cause the ball beat the runner there. Surprisingly great call by the umpire.
That 2nd one is so tragic cuz he did exactly what everybody tells you to do an it was still caught. Funny thing is if he woulda went for the INT, which you are not supposed to, they win.
lol i ask my friends and family the craziest play against the bills and they always tell me that arizona vs bills touchdown to Deondre hopkins, (i live in buffalo but i'm a steelers fan)
That’s not how that rule works at all, it’s whoever has clear possession, which the defender had complete and clear control of the ball. Those were replacement refs due to the regular refs being on strike and they made what is considered one of the worst calls in NFL history. It was one of the MANY bad calls in the first few weeks that ended up getting the regular refs a deal and off strike faster than what they probably would have.
That Hail Mary win by the Seahawks over the Packers still bothers me, and not just because I’m a Packers fan. After a lot of reviews showing that it clearly was an interception and well within the arms of the defender, where Tate then just simply latched on and the defender had complete control, the refs still got it completely wrong. I remember that was the season where the normal referee’s were on strike for the first few games of the season. While the normal referee’s are bad, I’m glad we don’t have to deal with these horrible replacement ones anymore. That was one of the worst calls in NFL history, I’d hate to have my team win on a play I know they didn’t win on called the “Fail Mary”.
The Seahawk player touched the ball first. Maintained contact until both feet are down. Touchdown, dead ball. The ball is then stripped, but dead. NFL headquarters actually explained the ruling because of the controversy. Refs got it right on frame by frame replay. Doesn’t matter who wound up with ball after dead. The receiver kept it just long enough for the touchdown. Had the defender knocked the ball to the ground, that might have been an incomplete as the ball would have touched the ground. As the ball didn’t touch the ground, the rules for a touchdown are: First contact, both feet down inbounds. Maintain contact until this happens. The conditions were met. The defender stripped a dead ball. No interception by rule. Refs got it right but you have to read the rules and watch the full frame video frame by frame to see what happens and when.
If any play in any sport has to be called/explained only through frame-by-frame analysis, you know there's going to always be controversy. I can't imagine what calls like this would have been like before this technology; they probably likely would just do the play over, which is also controversial, but would be more fair.
@@richardbeckenbaugh1805 No he didn’t, through every replay M.D Jennings has the ball right in his chest from the start and Tate reaches in and touches it with his hand and then pulls himself towards the ball. There are literal freeze frame photos clear as days showing M.D with complete possession and Tate with no a single finger on the ball.
Toronto's entire 2019 run was luck lol. Get 6 guys on Golden State hurt, basically all the starters, check. Get lucky shot to win game 7 vs Philly, check.
Dhop one was not luck luck would be if they deflected and then he caught it but he literally went straight over three bills defenders and came down with the ball pure skill also the Seahawks and Packers one was bullcrap mx Jennings clearly caught that ball
3:40 The ball hitting Conseco on top of the head and bouncing off it over the fence to make a home run, is at least a lot safer than jumping up to make the catch, but the ball hits your face, and you're decapitated, and both the ball and your head go over the fence for a double home run. (The Naked Gun) "How about that!?" Getting hit by a car in the outfield or eaten by a tiger a 2nd base are also quite unlucky for you, but lucky for the other team. It's all a matter of your point of view who really has all the luck.

The crazy Sousa catch to keep the no hitter
Agreed. Aaron Rodgers heaving the ball 61 years isn't luck, it's skill.

You make your own luck through skill and experience. These clips are actually about insane skills. Much respect.
“OH CUAGHT! STOKLEY DOWN TE SIDE LINE! CAN THEY CATCH HIM?! STOKELY! WOOOOW!”
That never gets old
Also a great call as well
I remember watching that live. I was as excited as that announcer and probably as loud. Lol
They should stop playing games at the same time so this guy can call every game.

Many of these were pure skill and don't deserve this title

R.I.P. eardrums. Thanks Gus Johnson.
So lucky right now it is a half Court salvation
Love how Gus Johnson has like half of these nfl calls. He just makes football exciting lmao
Whenever Gus Johnson is on the call you just know something magical is gonna happen

wow that 5:18 was just barely a good play his foot set down right after the ball hit his head lol. Amazing luck.
He took 3 steps at least without a dribble I'm going to need a traveling call.
LMAO...As if traveling penalties even exist in the NBA anymore

It wasn't "luck", it was skill, when Aaron Rodgers threw that touchdown pass. GO PACK GO 🏈
