This is an excellent review of this product. I recently had one installed on my late model car. It was very helpful for a rearview parking camera. The front camera is excellent. However, the rear camera is not as clear very blurry. I had to take the original rear camera back and replace it with another. It was a significant improvement but in no way is it as clear as the front camera. Overall I am pleased with the Acumen. Thank you for helping me appreciate it more. Keep Going!
What canera did you replace ot with? My accumen xr10 is doing the same

Does this also have motion detection? How does the mobile app work? Do I need to have my phone connected via wifi direct every time I'm inside car, will it still.work without my phone ? Is my phone just acting as a uploading feature while I'm connected via wifi direct then once uploaded I must download to view ? Is that how it works ? Thanks

So I am confusing, when we turn off the car does the record camera still recording????
The dashcam is powered on and records when the ignition is turned on. When you turn off the ignition, the normal continuous recording stops.

These mirror dashcams are quite reliable. Not much issues with them.
