- UX writing is the art of crafting the text that appears throughout the interface of digital products (websites, mobile apps, etc.). As the apps and websites that we use become increasingly complex, the need for clear guidance through well-crafted UX writing also grows.
Simply put, UX writing is the process of creating content that helps the user accomplish their goals.
In this beginner’s guide, CareerFoundry’s Senior Marketing Content Editor, Emerson Schroeter (they/them) details what UX writing actually is, and what good UX writing looks like in practice. There will also be an opportunity to practice your UX writing in a quick practical exercise, along with a Q&A session towards the end of the video!
