Using elements of the Crash 3 demo theme in the underwater death route music is a stroke of genius.

I just discovered this channel and realized this video is just recent, I can’t imagine that you made it like an original level, great work!!, something else, it always bugs me that Crash 1 and 3 got DLC level in the N Sane Trilogy but Crash 2 didn’t get one, I always imagined it could be dark ruin level with the bug light :) thats just my idea

Love this level. Unlike Snow No, this is a very hard level but it doesn't feel hard for the sake of being hard. This is an extremely hard level done right, and I can't wait to play it

A demake! That would be amazing.
Crash 4 is going to use Unreal Engine 4 too... And that means that when it comes to PC then people will be able to mod the fuck out of it! Spyro Reignited is very very easily moddable because it uses UE4, Crash 4 should be the same, and that means that people can demake that game too. :)

god the name of this level feels very at home with crash. It's a pun AND it's a very literal explanation of the level's gimmick at the same time. Mwah. Beautiful.
The level itself is rather well designed too, considering the natural limitations of using Under Pressure's geometry. Some stuff comes across as kinda hackjob but at the very least everything seems fair, with obstacles usually becoming apparent before Crash can even interact with them

Jokes aside, great work as always, Aversatrix. This is a really good level by the looks of it! I especially like the death route, with the purple tint and how you changed those sausage-shooting guys from Un-bearable into wall-mounted turrets! It's a bit of a shame that the rocky platform and flamethrower guy aren't tinted, but I understand if it wasn't possible. Regardless, liking it a lot!

We would like to make at least w2 as an addition to this, there are some ideas and also there are 5 unused colored gems. Time is the bottleneck.
@@Aversatrix From what I've seen, I dislike Snow No because it feels like hard for the sake of being hard. But this level here is really cool, No Pressure is how you do an extremely hard level right
@@vittoriopugliese3352 Yea Snow No is a victim to its own length. Press/lite and newer levels are closer to the original levels in length.
@@Aversatrix I want to be able to play a game with levels such as No Pressure without having to go through Snow No. I'm interested in levels that are harder and a bit longer than usual (I mean, I am a Crash 4 fan after all), but Snow No feels like way too freakin' long (especially with the backtracking). Albeit I can praise various ideas brought forth in Snow No. No Pressure on the other hand feels really cool and fun to go through, it's the kind of hard I want to challenge
@@vittoriopugliese3352 Yea you kinda will have to endure Snow No, at least the crystal. Which is rather easy since most of the level is only needed for box gem.

Yes, you can make custom VABs using Awave Studio or VABtool that comes with PsyQ SDK.

Is it possible to change Crash's moveset on the fly? For example, to have just a single level in the game where you only have the moveset of Crash 1 as a novelty? Because the hard but straight-to-the-point barebones platforming of Crash 1 is my favourite and could make for a fun mix-up in a Crash 2/Crash 3-style game
(would also give you an excuse to reuse/rework some Crash 1 levels, too, since most of those would be ridiculously easy/unbalanced with the later games' movement options)
