in light of the TikTok ban, I've found myself having to take a step back, and really think about the content i want to make. make no mistake, I'm not going to censor or hide who i am (a queer disabled woman) to appeal to what my government or the people around me want. i want my channel and content to be a free space to express who i am, and it has become increasingly more difficult to do that in the world we live in today.
its strange to think i am the "friend who's too woke" for thinking everyone deserves housing, and food, and affordable education, and healthcare, and a living wage. but if that's truly what I've become, i will wear that label as a fucking badge of honor.
