when you fight bale don't run towards him, he will come to you. the combos that end in him flying away don't actually end when he flies away, instead then have positional combo finishers where he will fly into the air, do a large lunge or do a tail spin attack, that if you are far from him will end in a charged heavy window for a colossal. if instead you run towards him you miss out on the combo finisher as you are now to close, removing your punish window. when he dose lunging attacks role backwords, this way you will not be caught by the fire breath after. as far as I can tell all of Bayles combos, apart from the one where he summons tracking lightning and the one after the phase transition, which can be punished if he lands close to a wall but this is not consistent. there is also a punish I could not get consistently, where he dose a heavy lightening attack in phase on, followed by a single swipe. there is time to punish with a role poke after the heavy attack, and time for a jump attack after the swipe, but he can do a doble swipe that looks similar but I think not identical. I struggle to tell them apart so often miss the second punish.

When I started playing Elden Ring, it being my first Souls game ever, I was so scared to go to the middle of the lake, once he landed there, I guess it took me over 15 hours of exploration and progress, until I decided it’s time to fight my frost dragon. These moments make FromSoft games so great.
I will never get the whole "bayle doesnt keep his head down for long enough" the point of the fight is to dodge his combos AND AFTER he finished his combo you hit him once or twice if you have a fast weapon and then repeat. If he hit you during his combos, tough luck you propably wont get a hit in, wait for the next combo to end, then hit. Literally the same thing with midir, the only difference is that midir has longer downtime between his attacks so you can hit him more. Bayle is just a harder midir. If ur struggling to find the fight fun, try the dragon hunter katana and just use the ash of war from up close every time he ends his combo, the duration of the aow is usually short enough to use it and then dodge his next attack safely.

Great! Nice video mate! Been waiting for fresh content from thee a while. I agree with your idea for frenzied flame dragon as I had the same idea back in 2023. Midir remains my favorite dragon boss experience in all of Soulsbourne series and I agree with your top 5 without objections.
Dude i'm sorry to say this but your bayle gameplay is... kinda bad You should try keeping the lock on all the time and stay in front of him, going under him is simply a bad idea.
All other dragon fights are won by going for the feet (unless you have access to wizardry aka long range attacks) so that’s counterintuitive imo, but going for the head is how these fights should’ve been designed anyways. Edit: This is just Elden Ring btw, DS3 knows what’s up. And in my experience, you’ll get more consistent damage by going for the feet or wings since the head likes to be above your head even on horseback. The only attack you’ll then have to deal with is slow stomp and slow fly down slam.
@@InsaneGreatswordnot really, the base game dragons also condition you to aim for the head. Even then Bayle is on the ground and the lock on for him is specifically targeted at his head. You also deal more damage hitting his head as well. When I fought the boss I instinctively targeted his head because of the lock on lol so I don’t think it’s counterintuitive.
@@InsaneGreatswordhis lock on point is the head, he’s low to the ground, his head is exposed after every attack. It couldn’t be more clear where your hits should go
@@InsaneGreatsword Not true at all. All the drake fights are better fought by hitting their heads even with melee builds. It's just ancient dragons who suck with melee when trying to hit their heads.
@handzofstone1152 In the video, he was getting hit by every attack, as well as attacking Bayle in the stomach and legs rather than the head. Bayle is spammy, but all of his attacks are perfectly dodgable, and have fine hitboxes. In this case, it quite literally is a skill issue.
Bro has fortissax ranked above placidusax and bayle. Fortissax is hot cheeks compared to those two! What a wild take. I never ever thought I would see someone give fortissax of all dragon fights that much credit.
Are we in the same universe because DeMods opinions on ER bosses have excellent reasoning and pretty much sum up why those bosses will never clear DS3s, they are simply more cluttered and gimmicky. I love Bayle but he’s way too reliant on AOEs with extremely obscure dodge timings and that gets kinda annoying, he is also way more spammy and feels like a flashier but worse designed Midir. As much as I disagree with several opinions on this list, don’t be disrespectful and rude to creators. It isn’t very nice and just causes problems. You can disagree, but at least make a proper argument as to why, and try not to be straight up rude please
14:02 Bayle’s only lock on point is his head. He takes more damage to the head. He’s intentionally a low rider. His head goes down after every attack. Idk, sounds pretty clear to me
Respectfully I disagree, and this is gonna be a long ass comment so if you don't wanna read just peak my top 5 list and dip. I love dragons though so I gotta go into this topic in depth lol. All the drakes in Elden Ring except for Ekzykes and Adula are trash and deserve to plummet to D or F tier. Ekzykes and Adula get C tier because while they're still drakes I can at least respect them a little and they're kinda fun to fight while the others aren't. ALL Ancient Dragons EXCEPT for Fortisaxx are doomed to the F tier and in Trash tier I throw Sennesaxx. Fortisaxx goes in C tier and that's purely for his lore and somewhat more unique design. DS2 Ancient Dragon is barely C tier thanks to his lore and otherwise is D tier. Sihn's cool so he can be in B tier for being more unique than your average dragon, but still isn't that great because he honestly feels like a weaker Kalameet with Poison thrown in and less build up. Top 5 dragons for my opinion: Bayle the Dread - S tier Darkeater Midir - S tier Black Dragon Kalameet - A tier Divine Dragon - A tier Dragonlord Placidusax - A tier Placi is extremely well designed has cool moves and has peak lore, but after the first encounter you begin to lose the magic that at first makes you believe he's S tier. He's still sick and fun to fight while being far more well designed than every other dragon and drake before him, but just isn't as fun to fight as my choices above him. I don't really like Sekiro, but I like Divine Dragon as I love its design and the way you fight it is cool for a gimmick boss. Kalameet on some days is an S tier for me personally but if I'm being objective he can't compare to my top 2 but I believe through his lore, build up, and fight itself he's just more fun to fight than every other dragon in the series with the exception of my top 2. I like Bayle the best solely because of how badass I know he is and because my favorite Yugioh duel monster is Red Dragon Archfiend so Bayles design is automatically S tier for me. Couple that with his dope lore and how he's the father of all Drakes yet has his own element in Flame Lightning and grows his own set of wings to rival his ancient counterparts is just PEAK!! He's got 2 of Placi's heads lodged in his back is missing a leg and has thoroughly f**ked his wings beyond repair yet fights and loiters his mountain with the corpses of all his adversaries too weak to compare. Even his battlefield is covered in these blood flowers that used to be Drake Warriors that have failed to end him. Bayle is PEAK! Midir is a dragon that fell to the Abyss and is one of my favorite fights in the series. The gods entrusted him to watch this city at the end of time to prevent the age of man. He fell to the abyss and yet still stands guard. Even Midir's design is absolutely next level. If anyone puts Midir at #1 I can't even be mad because he's literally built different. If we made this list through lore alone Midir would be number 1. Correct me if I'm wrong but Midir's the ONLY entity in Dark Souls that fell to the Abyss yet didn't fully lose himself and continues to fight and cling onto his personality. Even if this isn't entirely accurate this lore just adds a layer of respect. Plus Midir did come first and is harder than every other dragon if you're not careful. All this to say Midir just like Bayle is peak and definitely deserves S tier.
Very respectable. In truth with the gameplay of a handicapped kitty means that your opinion on BAYLE is basically invalid. However the results reached are still true. Divine Dragon and Midir are indeed PEAK! As someone who has mastered Bayle and has killed him in 20 minutes via soloing with Dumb hosts summoning 3 phantoms, it’s true. For a boss that has so much HP, Stance HP and hitboxes. He does deserve some more downtime. Because as it stands, unless you’re insane like me, you should stick to BIG CHUNGUS weapons… is more insult to the video because carrying that hammer with 20 Scadu to only take 1/8 HP damage with the 1 shot attacks such as “flying in the air twice” is by all means the baby mode that makes Elden Ring the easiest Fromsoft game.
I'm with you on Bayle. He's an amazing cinematic experience with a great soundtrack and Igon is the cherry on top and for my first playthrough where I summoned Igon I REALLY enjoyed the fight, but then I went in on my second playthrough solo, no Igon or spirit ashes and struggled a LOT and started to really dislike the fight. My main problem is how it seems to incentivise hitting his head like other dragon fights in the series like Midir or Namelss King phase 1, but he also does everything in his power to make it hard to actually do so. He would contantly move his head around or attack and ironically enough I ended up finding it easier to just go for the belly or stump leg which is supposed to be the more punishing option, yet I'd rather try to avoid or take a bit of fire damage from his AoE breath attack than deal with having most my attacks just miss and getting hit anyway. Also agreed on Midir, he's probably still my favourite dragon boss in the series for some of the reasons you mentioned. I've only ever fought him twice but he was still super difficult both times and took many attempts, even when both attempts were after having played Elden Ring which makes a lot of DS3 bosses feel easy in comparison. I don't necessarily agree that he has too much HP though since I think the endurance battle is a big part of why he's such a good fight and actually makes him challenging, requiring you to make few mistakes and preserve your estus, similar to Sister Friede which is also a great fight. Only thing I would say is that the run back is way too long, they should have just thrown a bonfire in the room above the arena.
I agree with the majority of the list. And honestly, I like Bayle even less than you do. I don’t think the fight is bad, but I just can’t enjoy it as much as everyone else does.
My guy, why are you fighting Bayle like that. You can only target the head. After several attacks he lowers his head down for a bit for an opening. His head is far weaker than any other place on his body other than his stumpy leg. I feel like the game is trying to tell you something here. The way your fighting Bayle is like if you tried fighting Midir by only going for his toes. Your obviously not supposed to fight Midir like that and Bayle is no different.
While I disagree with some of your placements, I enjoyed the video. It's nice to hear other people's opinions and arguments, even if they're different. While I would place Bayle much higher than you, I agree that the camera can be problematic, and so I also prefer Midir.
YOURE RUNNING TO HIS LEGS OF COURSE YOU DONT LIKE HIM. I don’t like to say these things as a souls player but I think this warrants it: you don’t like him because you have a skill issue
I’m not gonna lie he’s not that fun of a fight the only thing that makes his fight cool is Igon placidusax is way better and midir is way better than both of them L dragon boss
I think the tracking lighting in fortissax bossfight is actually a good idea. Considering how late you encounter him in the game, his HP is not high at all, and if you could stand by his leg and attack with no consequences, that would turn him into one of biggest rememberance pushovers in the game. From my experience the tracking lightning still gives you time to attack once or twice and then run away. Also i like him more than placidusax aswell, fight me
I do agree with Bayle. But tbh, your gameplay reminds me of myself the first time i fought him. No clue what to do, engaged him like Midir. And i think thats a personal issue. No skill issue tho, but just a strategic one. Bayle is a good fight but imo nowhere near as good as Placidusax and Midir. I caught myself multiple times absolutely not seeing a opening in the Bayle fight and wondering what the best attack windows are. It's difficult but imo i think phase 2 is actually easier. Midir i can consistently beat to a point that i'm able to no hit him. I know him in and out. Placidusax is fun but damn that third phase is brutal. They cranked up Midirs Laser beam to 11. As for others, my personal favorite Dragon before Placidusax was always Sinh. I love this dragon but i can understand the weirdness of him feeling "stiff". Same goes for Kalameet imo.
While I would have shifted a few choices around, I do agree with Midir being the best. While I enjoy the spectacle of Plasidusax and Bayle more in that sense, (graphics, sound, lore) Midir has the best gameplay. I just went back to DS3 for the first time in 3 years. (mostly ER and a little Lies of P and Lords of the Fallen since then) I got Midir on my 2nd try, only healing a few times. When it clicks, it clicks. However, I am NEVER 100% confident on any attempt I make on Midir because #1 his 2nd phase laser is insane, and even 1st phase any mistake can snowball you to your death. Elden Ring has so many tools available it's only harder if you limit yourself. I'm actually forced to solo Midir because he is actually easier solo lol. (that summon for him dose no damage and increases his health, along with making him more unpredictable.)
I’d like a dragon fight where they transform into their human forms cast a legendary incantation and then transform back into dragon again. Or an Npc boss fight that second phase they transform into their true dragon form we know they have human forms in Elden ring at least
Everyone in the comments giving him shit for his Bayle take but I stand by him. I have over 1k hrs in each of ER and DS3 and I MUCH prefer Midir. Bayle is a cool spectacle sure but his moveset is so fucking annoying. Half the people saying L take probably summoned so their opinion means nothing. Midir over Bayle any day of the week
So Bayle wasn't actually that hard for me (I did summon Igon, but I also tried to take agro off him all the time. Still its worth mentioning). The way I fought him was just attack whatever part of him was the closest to me. I had either a 5 or a 6 sacdutree level and bandit's curved swords without buffs. The thing about him though is I didn't enjoy him as much simply because most of his moves were regular dragon moves with a little visual twist and in order to get to him I needed to kill 20 dragons so the magic of fighting a dragon just wasn't there at all for me. And yeah he is really cinematic BUT most of his difficulty comes from the regular moves which almost all dragons already have (even his roar was the same as every dragon since Agheel). The cinematic moves are almost all one time dodges. Bayle single handedly made me enjoy dragon fights less honestly. In conclusion he's probably around Placidussax level for me.
Nah bro, your way of thinking isn’t wrong at all. Bayle is definitely a really good fight and a strong contender to Midir, but he suffered from the same flaw as most of the DLC bosses in that he was super spammy and gave very few openings to actually attack. Plus whenever he did give openings, the windows were very small because he didn’t keep still. He would move his head up so that you couldn’t reach it, much like the King of the Storm in the first phase of the Nameless King fight. On top of that, some of his hit boxes were questionable, to say the least. Bayle was certainly a great spectacle, but he wasn’t better in terms of the fight itself. Midir just felt more balanced and had less bs going on. Most of the kids who are crying over it are just thinking with recency bias.
Sihn is much better than the elden ring dragons Also you didn't do the ghost flame dragons justice they aren't just base dragons with ghost flame, not only are they much faster but they also got their own unique combos and attacks to mix things up... And also one of them summons skeletons mid fight too all that actually adds up to them being a lot more interesting than what you made them out to be Bayle is meant to be fought from the front, he is the best dragon in the franchise and I'm not talking about the spectacle the whole idea is that his openings are non existent and you have to push through looking for the slightest openings to punish before he does another super attack which is exactly what you want from an end game optional superboss
Bayle really aint that bad as you made him out to be, claiming he attacks too much is a wild claim cuz pretty much every single boss in elden ring attacks hella often but are designed to have windows where you can punish them even if they are small, if you can't even deal with that then pure skill issue
worst gameplay (and take) of Bayle I have ever seen. other part of the ranking are weird but the Bayle take is just wrong, a skill issue and not understanding how to fight him
While agreeing with elden ring fanboys makes me feel dirty , yeah bayle is just a better midir , there are only 2 faults with the boss , his fire breath and his scream
Tbh, I don’t like any of the Elden Ring dragons besides Placy and I guess Bayle. Even though they’re all based off Midir they all feel horrible. I know that I shouldn’t be trying to attack the head with melee weapons but that feels like what they want you to do even though it’s a horrible idea. Fortissax is certainly a spectacle but he’s just a glorified dps test.
How kalameet was the 8th he should be one of the top 3 Isn't fortissax was a reskin random boss? Yeah i think u like to fight the gimmicky dragon that isn't even mid he is low Valid opinion
Thanks for being the reason for the intro saying it’s just his opinion! Your gatekeeping does absolutely nothing positive for the fromsoft community and I wish you good day sir!
Bayle is so much better than Midir, this ranking is pretty whack There are straight up 20-30 second stretches of time where you have to chase after Midir (that charge move lasts forever), and his phase 2 changes so little about his fight Bayle has better lore, better buildup, better atmosphere, a better flow, actually has a personality being Igon's mirror, is constantly engaging you while still being readable, has plenty of moves that are incredibly fun to dodge, and has a 2nd phase that actually mixes things up I still like Midir but there's really no metric where he's better than Bayle
Love how you say all of those things with so much confidence as if it’s in any way objective and not purely based on your own personal preference lol. You also ironically left out one major thing, which just happens to be the important one of them all; the actual fight itself, which Midir does better than Bayle. Not to mention the OST. Better lore and better buildup are both highly debatable considering that Midir is built up and actually shown all throughout The Ringed City. No, there isn’t even a single instance in that fight where you have to chase or wait to hit Midir for 20-30 seconds. That’s factually wrong. The moves where he charges across the arena and shoots his laser everywhere are his longest animations, and they take about 6-7 seconds and 10 seconds respectively. Midir gives you more openings to attack him and more time in general than Bayle does. Bayle spams you with long combos and gives you few and very small openings to actually attack him. Plus he moves his head around and out of your reach a lot of times even whenever he is actually giving you an opening to attack. Oh yeah, he mixes it up in his second phase alright; with a lot of spammy AoE attacks and a flying attack lmao. Yeah, no metric where Midir is better; apart from the actual fight, and the OST lol. Two of the most important and biggest things that define a boss fight. Bayle is undoubtedly a fantastic cinematic experience, but that’s the only area where he objectively has Midir beat.
@handzofstone1152 I love how you say I missed talking about the actual fights when that’s literally half of my comment lol, but hey if you want more detail, sure, since you’re literally commenting on every single thread under this video crying for attention insulting people unwarranted when nobody was doing that to you It’s first of all undeniable that Bayle has better lore. Midir is some ancient dragon tasked to fight the Abyss, being another great obstacle to the Age of Man, and a great emblem of the defeat of the ancient dragons. He also has some relationship to Shira, possibly his caretaker who now needs to put him down, which is cool, but he’s not at all significant to the story. You could completely take Midir out and the story and world of Dark Souls would work. Bayle is the rival to the Elden Lord of likely the first iteration of the Elden Ring, is likely a huge factor for the decline of that age due to his titanic battle with Placidusax, is the primary target of Dragon Communion and is likely the main reason it even exists, is the father of all the drakes you’ve been fighting for 200 hours, and is related to two very interesting NPCs, Igon and Florissax, where Igon’s clear parallels to Captain Ahab reveal the Faustian themes of their relationship, and where Florissax stating that Igon and Bayle are alike also give us insight into Bayle’s contentious relationship to Placidusax. Neither can accept subjugation by powers above them and so revolt against nature or fate, perhaps against their better judgment, showing that our current bid to be Elden Lord, burning with our flame of ambition to supplant the old order with our will, is rooted in even the most primal of conflicts. As for the music, I personally prefer Bayle’s (not to say I dislike Midir’s), as it fits Bayle and Igon’s titanic rage as well as matching the intense tempo of the fight. We can quibble about if the atmospheric buildup of the Jagged Peak or Midir actually fighting you were better setups, but in terms of lore and presence it isn’t even close. The chasm between the two in this regard I’d argue is way bigger than the mechanical gap. Now for the actual fight. I actually like both bosses so I know them by heart, but to be concrete I’ll refer to a few videos (with timestamps) to show that, indeed, Midir has moves that factually last upwards of 20 seconds and that it’s typical for a player to spend longer than that just chasing him. His laser move is one of them. If you look at The Colossal King’s “Midir Laser is AMAZING” video, Midir starts setting up the laser by flying away at 0:13, which ends at 0:36. That is 23 seconds long. The player doesn’t even get a hit in during that whole 1 minute video. Here’s another attack that takes forever: his double charging combo which he does in phase 2 which you can see in Boss Fight Database’s Midir fight starting at 2:34, which ends at 2:54. That is 20 seconds long. He doesn’t get a hit in while actively chasing the purple lizard. Meanwhile Bayle’s longest move which you can see in Boss Fight Database’s Bayle fight from 1:04 to 1:21 only takes 17 seconds, and that’s me counting the transformation with it (the flying bolts could be considered separate), and the player is able to hit him not too long after. So why were you sending straight up misinformation? It’s also a lie to say that Bayle moves his head away from you, quite the opposite-plenty of his moves are him going close to you and giving you openings. That tail swipe which he’s guaranteed to do every time he does a charge puts his face right in front of you. When he does his double breath attack he lands right in front of you. When he does his nuke, that’s essentially 2 free hits if you jump attack to dodge the ground explosion. When he does his flying orbs, he just roars after landing so you can just hit him if you’re close enough. I can go on but this is too long already lol Bayle also has slightly shorter combos than Midir. If you actually review his fight, Bayle’s combos typically have a range of 1-3 attacks. Same for Midir, generally, but Midir, the allegedly non-spammy DS3 boss, has combos that have 6 attacks or more in them (I don’t even dislike those combos lol). Bayle doesn’t have anything remotely close to that. Where are these ‘long combos’ Bayle has? And what do you mean ‘spammy’ aoe explosions? They literally just have hitboxes you have to dodge 1 or 2 times before you get a hit in lol, the challenge comes from timing, not managing a flurry of attacks. Comparing their second phases is even starker. Midir adds that terrible 20 second charge combo, some humanity sprites to some of his attacks, and the laser combo, which is pretty much his only wholly new move. Bayle adds lightning trails to some of his older attacks, but also almost doubles his moveset, making you focus on timing against hard-hitting aoes instead of the quicker melee attacks. Meanwhile, you just fight Midir the same way. It’s not even close. So, again, there is absolutely no metric where Midir is better. You’ve had to use a combination of obfuscation and straight up lies to argue otherwise. You overuse ‘spam’ to the point that it just means ‘basic attack patterns I don’t understand’. You lied about the duration of his charge and laser attacks. And you unironically think yelling ‘recency bias’ is somehow a good argument. Bayle is a huge improvement on an already great boss like Midir, we should cheer From on to keep iterating on their bosses to make them as good as possible, especially when they do it right.

dude thes guys who dislike bayle the dread are really noops and cant play souls games. i literally fought bayle for like 2 days stright. and keept going tell i beated him. yes i got frostrated but the fight was really fire.
Great! Nice video mate!
Been waiting for fresh content from thee a while. I agree with your idea for frenzied flame dragon as I had the same idea back in 2023.
Midir remains my favorite dragon boss experience in all of Soulsbourne series and I agree with your top 5 without objections.
Dude i'm sorry to say this but your bayle gameplay is... kinda bad
You should try keeping the lock on all the time and stay in front of him, going under him is simply a bad idea.
As if that wasn't something unique to Bayle or a "bad thing"
*cough cough * Midir
@@InsaneGreatswordhis lock on point is the head, he’s low to the ground, his head is exposed after every attack. It couldn’t be more clear where your hits should go
@@InsaneGreatsword Not true at all. All the drake fights are better fought by hitting their heads even with melee builds. It's just ancient dragons who suck with melee when trying to hit their heads.
Your reasoning for Bayle was literally just a skill issue.
100%
Bayle being super spammy and having inconsistent hit boxes is absolutely not a skill issue lmao.
Yeah I agree. Id personally put bayle behind divine dragon and midir, but his reasoning is just a straight up skill issue.
Bro has fortissax ranked above placidusax and bayle. Fortissax is hot cheeks compared to those two! What a wild take. I never ever thought I would see someone give fortissax of all dragon fights that much credit.
Fortissax is goated
Ur bayle gameplay is basically if DeMods opinions were converted to skill
Top 5 dragons for my opinion:
Bayle the Dread - S tier
Darkeater Midir - S tier
Black Dragon Kalameet - A tier
Divine Dragon - A tier
Dragonlord Placidusax - A tier
Placi is extremely well designed has cool moves and has peak lore, but after the first encounter you begin to lose the magic that at first makes you believe he's S tier.
Sticking to the outside of Bayle's right leg keeps you away from his breath attacks and let's you get a lot of hits in.
This isn't very close to how I would rank these dragons. It's always cool to hear other perpectives/opinions though. Thanks for all the great content.
I don’t think the fight is bad, but I just can’t enjoy it as much as everyone else does.
igon is to badass to ignore
I personally like how Midir is also
Makes you have to learn his moveset and he punishes you for not reacting to that telegraphed stuff
Ikr why ppl keep hugging his leg, goofy ahh gameplay. Wanna play against peak you gotta fight that motherfucker head on 🗣️
I’m not gonna lie he’s not that fun of a fight the only thing that makes his fight cool is Igon placidusax is way better and midir is way better than both of them L dragon boss
Also i like him more than placidusax aswell, fight me
Fortisax - best design placidusax - best arena
Midir - best colour scheme
Bayle - best moveset
Footage with Bayle speaks for itself… I dont even understand what exactly you’re trying to do there. Giving him some belly scratches?
Crazy how people take opinions so personal
Sinh should be way higher imo
Yeah he’s better than kalameet imo
The ghostflame dragons are everything the base game dragons should have been. They can combo and the slow and boring attacks are sped up.
yep, they are the only ''good'' mini-boss dragons
Bayle at 5 is crazy
Dragon list
1:midir
2:gaping dragon
3:bayle!!!
4:black dragon
5:divine dragon
6:litchdragon fortisax
Btw this is from what I experienced
No seath the scales! Were does he rank
Last place.
13:17 that’s all the bosses in the dlc bro not just bayle lol
It’s also so funny to me that he says that over a clip where Bayle gives him a good 3 second attack window
Your not supposed to go to Bayles legs
That's specifically where the target is at his head
I don't know why but i love ancient wyvern
Seathe crying in the corner
elden ring rollspam peasants trying to cancel this video is the funniest thing
Ngl that bayle gameplay was hard to watch
Sinh and Kalameet so Low? ugh Bayle>Midir (still all 4 are top notch imo)
Dude I think you are fighting bayle in a wrong way and this is the reason why he is at 5th place!
RIP, bayle is my favorite Elden Ring boss, it's like Midir but everything is better
Bayle is definitely #1 for me with Midir #2
What about the dragon whiched imagined an illusionary child into existence then kills it in his rage ??
Ain’t no way storm drake is ranked higher than kalameet
Don’t have an issue with the ranking but your reasonings for Bayle being 5th are just not to good
Sihn is much better than the elden ring dragons
Also you didn't do the ghost flame dragons justice they aren't just base dragons with ghost flame, not only are they much faster but they also got their own unique combos and attacks to mix things up... And also one of them summons skeletons mid fight too all that actually adds up to them being a lot more interesting than what you made them out to be
Bayle is meant to be fought from the front, he is the best dragon in the franchise and I'm not talking about the spectacle the whole idea is that his openings are non existent and you have to push through looking for the slightest openings to punish before he does another super attack which is exactly what you want from an end game optional superboss
i agree that midir is better than bayle and the divine dragon is underrated but no matter how good fortissax is, at least bayle isn't a reskin boss
Fortissax is goated fym
But i really respect for not being an another elden ring rider , keep it real king
Bayle is my no1. Midir is also nice
Elden Ring = Pest Threads or Pest spears, no problem with any dragon anymore 😊
I think kalameet and sinh should've been higher I kinda enjoyed fighting them
No way in hell Divine Dragon is better than Dragonlord and Bayle..
your bayle reasons are just skill issue
Oceiros is olso a dragon
I dont agree with everything said here, but midir is for me Nr.1 too
While I personally wouldn’t put bayle at number one, your reasoning for his ranking is simply… a skill issue. Words I thought I’d never have to say…
Decaying Ekzykes... I hate that thing with a passion.
How kalameet was the 8th he should be one of the top 3
Isn't fortissax was a reskin random boss?
Yeah i think u like to fight the gimmicky dragon that isn't even mid he is low

@@Basidus258 Nope, it isn’t.
@@handzofstone1152 Yes, it is. My opinion is absolute
Wtf khalameet sucks. His hitboxes dont work
Bayle is so much better than Midir, this ranking is pretty whack
There are straight up 20-30 second stretches of time where you have to chase after Midir (that charge move lasts forever), and his phase 2 changes so little about his fight
Bayle has better lore, better buildup, better atmosphere, a better flow, actually has a personality being Igon's mirror, is constantly engaging you while still being readable, has plenty of moves that are incredibly fun to dodge, and has a 2nd phase that actually mixes things up
I still like Midir but there's really no metric where he's better than Bayle
@handzofstone1152 I love how you say I missed talking about the actual fights when that’s literally half of my comment lol, but hey if you want more detail, sure, since you’re literally commenting on every single thread under this video crying for attention insulting people unwarranted when nobody was doing that to you
It’s first of all undeniable that Bayle has better lore.
I can go on but this is too long already lol
Bayle also has slightly shorter combos than Midir.
