Yankee Yankee! Thank you for pushing yourself even when you lack the motivation. That’s motivating to me. Your style of video making is a joy to watch ☺️ I’m glad you share your adventures with us!

No Yankee here, I'm from the South. The simple pleasures of life is the best life can offer. A tent, a campfire, pork belly slides and slaw, a drink to relax and a place to bed down. What more can you ask for?

Thanks for watching!!! Yes it’s amazing in bad weather. Most of tents in this style can stand up to quite a lot of weather!

Sitting at home in Adelaide watching you cook that amazing pork belly. You’ve got a fantastic set up.. I think I might look into the wind break, seems to work really well. Keep up the great work 👍

Hey Andre. I’m in Northern Ireland and I’m at my porridge and coffee. That seemed a challenge, even from here. The pork belly was well smoked, as were you! 😄

Just how I like me, smoked and lightly pickled;-) thanks for watching mate! I’m so stoked to reach Ireland! It’s absolutely on my bucket list and I’m very excited to hear the accent in real life and get swatted with a few blokes. Really appreciate the comment! All the best!

It does add a whole new level of complexity to camping but I’ve figured out the best way to do it for me and my family. If you working within its constraints, it actually makes life a bit easier ;-)

    Yankee Yankee
You're too hard on yourself Andre. Video came up tops. Great content as usual.
How'd you go with the sleeping bag? We had similar conditions that week, windy and wet and about 6 degrees. We took an extra mink blanket so was comfortable enough.
It's a great spot there. The host is very welcoming and its spacious and well secluded.
Did you take the Jimny up/down Mt Alma road? It's like a roller coaster lol. Beautiful views. How'd it like going up it?
Sliders look Bellissimo. Just missing a slice of melted American cheese and a dob of Stubbs hickory BBQ sauce. Got me hungry sitting in front of my work lappy now.
We didn't have any real issues with mozzies or flies. I took some coils but didn't need to use them.
Glad you got a decent fire in. Looking like a hot summer ahead.
    Cheers mate, slainte.
