I didn’t really understand the parable, but it is clear now. I just started in the New Testament working my way to Revelation. I am a seeker, I want a deeper, meaningful relationship with God. I need that! Thank you for teaching in a way we can all understand.

Many will no longer want to RETAIN THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD.. Hebrew 10 26 those who sin WILLINGLY there remains no more a sacrifice for sins but a judgement that shall devour even the adversaries.. The knowledge of God is the mind of Christ. If those people no longer want the mind of Christ, they no longer want the holy Spirit. This I believe is why many people are deceived into thinking that those who are sealed are sealed forever. We do however have the Earnest of our inheritance. (the gifts of the holy spirit). It's not yet a seal til the destination. This life we walk now is the journey. Hebrews turned away from God ON THE WAY to the promised land.. This was for our (the church) example as well
this should speak with believers as well. To understand His MOEDIM. Appointed times, study scriptures and understand that its not you against unbelievers but building a true relationship with the Lord putting HIM first before anything to be able to fully understand His incredible patience with you. That you can be patient with others and love supernaturally not logically despite everything. WHILE we are sinners He died for us. Forgiveness comes before Reconcilliation for a Restoration to take place. Love and Forgive in action whether its accepted or understood or not.
Have you ever tried putting on nice clean clothes over the top of dirty work clothes? Or before taking a bath? It’s not a great feeling. God had something better in mind when he called us out of the world. He has no interest in “white washed tombs”. The Bible makes it crystal clear that putting off Isaiah’s “filthy rags” and taking a spiritual bath are not optional extras. "For if we are living according to the flesh, we must die. But if by the Spirit we are putting to death the deeds of the body, we will live". (ie. Will be chosen) Romans 8 vs 12-14.
As always good sound teaching , just one correction though no one can be part of the "body of Christ" who isn't saved they can of course be part of the local church even get baptized and still not saved.
You didn't offer any biblical reference for freewill and are preaching from a text that insinuates that people are "chosen" not "choosing." I get it, you're arminian, but your congregants might be a little thrown off by that and would benefit from a biblical defense of the concept of freewill and not a rational/philosophical one.
