I’m really going to miss David Ross… I really thought he would be the Cubs manager for the next 10 years at least… And I really hope that Craig counsel takes this team to the next level… Of course they’re going to add more talent which is kind of unfair because what if David Ross had more talent, is that the reason why they would do you a better team or is it about the management or coaching? It sucks for him because everybody in Chicago loved him… He still a hero in Chicago… And I wish him the best of luck and I can see him on fox sports or marketing that work sometime soon… Or maybe MLB not work…

It’s amazing how many guys have come up from the minor leagues Matt Mervis, Justin Steele, and other guys who are not even drafted in the top three rounds… Some much later… And yet they have developed into really good players who have the potential to become All-Stars… Their minor-league system is looking really good it’s amazing how quickly some of these guys have developed… Just like Willson Contreras how we had to switch positions and become a catcher… Good luck to you Willson Contreras, it really sucks that you went to Milwaukee… But you still love you in Chicago even if you’re playing for the enemy…

I think it was a really good hire… He’s obviously a very smart person, not just baseball player, but I think he’s a little more traditional as far as keeping the lineup the same if they are successful… Whereas Rosswood ringing guys you’ve never heard of so they can develop and show what they can do and then sitting guys you were thinking why? He’s hot, he’s not… But whatever… Sometimes you want to do that because confidence is everything in baseball, well in sports in general… If you got your guys extremely confident then that’s great coaching… I and I believe part of that is letting them play and let them learn from mistakes and get better and show confidence in their abilities… Because I believe that’s what she was trying to do… I don’t think the Cubs had enough talent to win the World Series… If you base it on the bullpen pitching… And consistent hitting… The Cubs might have gotten in the playoffs and win a few games but they were not good enough to play in the World Series…

Is it true that the Bears..Cubs.. duh .. I mean…were considered the number one minor league farm system with the best coaches and developmental coaching..Because I heard them say the Chicago Cubs were number one as far as farm system goes… But I can’t remember if that’s because of talent or number one in development of players. Either way it’s pretty damn impressive and yes they developed guys that were late round picks… Justin Steele was what a fourth or fifth round pick? but now he’s a bad ass bulldog left the starter… And then they brought up other young talent like Miguel Amaya, Pete - crow Armstrong, Alexander Canario, Caleb Kylian, Jordan Wicks, Luke little… That a great start from Keegan Thompson… So they have a lot of talent, and the talent that is coming up and being successful or not first round picks by any means… They were afterthought players who developed into really good solid and dependable position players and pictures… The Justin Steele story is fantastic… Fourth or fifth round draft pick who turned himself into a possible ace or at least a really special number 2 ace… And they have a couple guys in the minor leagues that will be ready this coming season… And hopefully Brennan Davis can come back healthy… No, should they go after Otani? It’s not like they can’t afford to… And there’s no salary cap which is great… I mean seriously, in the NFL… Either raise the salary cap another $50 million or just get rid of it… sometimes like to spend a lot of money on free agents and other teams like to draft and develop… That’s what the Cubs are doing but of course you have to spend money on starting pitching if you want more instant or faster success… Because obviously starting pitching is the most important thing after hitting. And defense… The Cubs witness was their bullpen and consistency… But to be considered the number one overall system as far as development of players… That’s brilliant.

Honestly, I want to know why they moved on from David Ross considering this team was turned down and all of their best players were sent off for a draft picks or trades… You can’t follow David Ross for that… You can’t possibly win when you lose all your best talent and since the Cubs have a lot of talent in the minor leagues did they fire David Ross because they wanted a manager who handles young players better? that’s what I want to know, I wish they would tell us why they are moving on from david and then thinking Craig Counsell is going to be the right manager… I’m glad they got him but I’m just curious as to why they start it over again

I mean Milwaukee has a ton of talent, why didn’t they ever get to the World Series? I don’t know… Are you going to blame the manager or is that a lack of talent because they certainly had the talent, unfortunately they had their own injuries… But Craig counsel never took them deep into the playoffs or World Series yet so why is he the better manager? Maybe it’s his managerial style, the analytics, not really sure but I do like the higher but that team has had enough talent to win playoff games so hopefully everything works out well for a Craig Counsell..
