For anyone that plays and hasn't looked up/found out how to unlock the last five characters;
Young Anakin requires top lap records on all tracks, Ep1 Sebulba requires you to complete tournament as New Sebulba, Watto requires top race time records in all tracks, Maul requires best KO records on all tracks, and Vader can be unlocked by beating tournament mode with any of the hidden characters.
I was a legend at this game and at need for speed, when I was a younger.
getting a ps4 star wars edition in a couple of days. this game is included. seems awesome

I wish the Dreamcast had a genuine 128-bit Pod Racer Game, rather than the hand me down that was Star Wars: Ep1 Pod Racer. Wouldn't have a made a difference in the console war, but it would have been nice to see. DC had too many 32/64 bit ports that were not sufficiently upgraded :(

I would've preferred all the old characters from the first one, or if it had as many courses as the 1st. Seriously, Watto Vader and Maul aren't needed in the game.
The original one on PC and N64 were by far better. Just need graphics updates, and the PC had an annoying engine repeat sound where it seems it should be varied, different than the N64 sounds but still.

I prefer the old star wars racer game. This one feels too slow and boring, the only thing this game beats the old racer game is in graphics, thats all. Also, the narrator sounds kinda stupid...

+ChrisPTY507 Admittedly, Racer Revenge is the only pod racing game I've played, I never got the chance to play the N64 version. I had this game on the PS2 back in the day and honestly I enjoyed it, it was pretty hard too. Have you ever played the Pod Racer arcade game? This one beach pier I go to alot has it and I've played it alot since I was a little kid, it's real badass.
Looks slower and a lot worse than the original. What was the point?
I still prefer the old one. To have darth vader, darth maul, older anakin and watto just seems way out of place. They also replaced the original commentators. This one just felt way too arcady

OK, I understand but even so, the 1st game was really easy,while the 2nd dissapoints in many ways it is definitly more challenging, but at the same time not so rewarding or satisfactoring to beat.
***** The slowed down gameplay and the horrible collision sistem killed it for me, every time you hit something it's like hitting a invisible wall
