I shoot instinctive. However, whenever my conscious mind wants to try to take over, things go wrong. For those of us that shoot subconsciously, this is a great video. Many thanks!!

@@jscott4431 same here. Everytime I hold for longer and my conscious mind tries to take over. I end up plucking the string or just collapsing on my shot. I’ll often tell my self in my head don’t think just do

You nailed it, both your targets and what instinctive shooting truly is. Stacy Groscup taught us exactly what you are saying. There’s no use in any of us trying to convince anyone out there who swears there’s no such thing as instinctive shooting, unless they’re open-minded enough to realize that’s how our loving God made us so capable of being able to send that arrow to hit a rapidly moving target with uncanny accuracy so to have wild meat to feed our family. No use arguing, because in time they’re going to experience it themselves if in Reverend Stacy’s wise words, they believe they can do it, that the arrow’s going to go where we are looking.”

Or go out in pitch dark and set a glow stick or light a candle and set it at 15 yds. Pitch dark.
