@@moosesniffer9899They need to change the loot pool if that’s the route they want to go. Especially with a raid like VoG that already has a set of weapons that didn’t carry over from D1. It shits on player time investment. Why did I spend any time grinding the VoG weapons if they were just going to be made obsolete just so I could grind them again?

I know some people are pessimistic but whenever they come out with a state of the game, they hold true to what they say. I've read every single one and I've played the game since season of the drifter, so I'm not sure what to expect tomorrow but they're usually really good about state of the games

All I'm hoping for is maybe seeing if we'll get DLC specific playlist armor like Beyond Light and Witch Queen cause its something they promised to keep going with. Not only that but some more info on the mentioned playlist gamemodes and what new stuff will be coming for those as well. It's been a while since anything meaningful happened with those and would be nice to hear from the director as to what's in store for them
The last time we have this was back in beyond light when they have to delay witch queen to a whole year, so it’s possible that bungie may as well delay the final shape because of the game’s state since the launch of lightfall.

If Bungie doesn't come out and take the L for Lightfall and admit they screwed up I'll never trust them again. It's the last step they've taken into becoming a faceless corporate entity and not a collection of ambitious gamers making a work of art that they love.

Imagine if gambit was turned into a horde mode. You and 3 teammates compete against 4 other players to see who can survive the longest. Have a competitive version and a regular version. Maybe incorporate dunking motes to remove boss shields and just survive as long as you can. Each boss defeated increases the next waves add spawns. Only the best builds will be able to last. Rewards are determined by how many waves your team clears, with bonus rewards for getting farther than the other team.
Idk about you guys but that sounds awesome and id play it more than pvp.

@flopdaledingle i know right? It has potential to be the best thing destiny has to offer but the devs pay zero attention to it. Pvp could be great too if it was balanced properly with all game modes permanent instead of on rotation.

I swear to god 1 new Map in pvp for +1000 days is just insane to me after they sunsetted 6 or more away
bungie will announce a new map for pvp. revamped strikes and gambit. the community will be happy again..... and about 2 weeks later we'll be back to crying over the game again. is a cycle thats only gotten shorter and quicker as the years have gone on.
