Episode 48 - Bellingham Bay By Boat And Car

We sailed from Cap Sante Marina in Anacortes, to Bellingham Bay, stopping for lattes at Wood's Coffee in Boulevard Park. A few weeks later, we returned to Boulevard Park by car and drove to Anacortes via Chuckanut Drive.

Approximately how long does it take to motor from Anacortes to Bellingham? And then how long to sail back?

We motored from Anacortes to Bellingham in about 2.5 hours. When we returned that afternoon, we had a good wind and made the trip in about 2 hours. Even in light wind, the trip can be made in less than 3 hours under sail.
