- Indo Pacific region could be divided into 2 cultural-sphere. First is the Indosphere with India as the core and most Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, etc) as parts of it. Then, sinosphere with East Asia plus Vietnam and China as the core.

Indo China was Chinese that spread to south west and get influenced by India Culture through land and maritime silk road.
Pilipino culture I mean like Indigenous and pre colonial culture is heavily excluded from Indosphere culture for many years now as Philippines has discarded almost all its indigenous traditions.
Yeah I hope yu guys can bring the original Filipino culture back
Born Vietnamese and raised in Vietnam. I can tell that Vietnamese culture is a mixture of both Sino & Indo influence + a touch of French and Portuguese. After 1992, after Clinton took us off the embargo, we got a wave of American culture influence.
I wish Vietnam had more indian cultural influence. I'm still shocked that despite Vietnam being on the literal border with the indo sphere Vietnam never adopted any significant Indian culture like the Cambodians.
@@David_The_Texan_youtuber382 Vietnam was fully indosphere before kinh migration. Alot of shiv linga have been found in central Vietnam and south Vietnam is full of indosphere influence. The only problem is Vietnamese try to hide thier indosphere past.
@@ayazahmed9489 unfortunately Vietnamese/kinh and espicially the vietnameser ruling class are very close minded and instead look up to Chinese culture and imitate that culture. I wish Vietnamese people would have been more open to foreign cultural influences from India and the Mongols.
We have never adopted any Indian culture except the few Hinayana Buddhist pagoda in the Mekong delta. The word ‘mixture’ is an exaggeration of Vietnamese culture since there was no Indian custom in Vietnam.
Why would our country want to be influenced by the Indian culture in stead of our own? It is apparent that we are in Sinosphere but that doesn’t mean we are the copy of China, the custom of Vietnamese people are different. Therefore, adopting the Indian culture is none of the pride, the are so many countries are influenced by them and it doesn’t make anymore cultural diversity, really make sense for a Indosphere fan like you. @@David_The_Texan_youtuber382
that's outdated, we use spoon and fork and chopsticks here in southeast asia, we dont use our hands anymore

it has no value, all countries in the world are formed from wars and mergers, smaller and weaker countries will perish,
I don't know what country you are from, dare to say such stupid things, who are you?, if you are not Vietnamese, shut up, you have no right to talk nonsense, and if you have thoughts of challenging Vietnam's strength ,lets fight with our army,

Sinosphere architecture is based off Indosphere architecture, specifically Indian architecture.
Fake news

@@YungSiKrey tell me how Sinosphere architecture is based off Indosphere architecture?
@@Oscar42o too much to explain…it’s Fake news if your believe so and that’s is why you should not believe everything you hear online unless you research about it
@@Oscar42o The bridge between them is Hindu-Buddhist religious structures like government houses and temples/pagodas. Part of sinospheric architecture has assimilated these from Ancient India, such as multilayered roof or sharper, curved edges. Just look at Chinese temples and you can see the connection. I don't know about based off of, but definitely heavily influenced by Indosphere in that regard.
