Important little detail, split finger is gonna pull amount of string equivalent to one more inch of draw with thumb / bowscale hook, so for example draw weight at 35 inches measured with bowscale roughly equals 34 inch drawn by a split finger (or 3 under).

Very cool. Thanks for taking the time to get/analyze all that data.

I got to archery on May 2023, got me a long bow from PSE (ORYX) 50Lbs @28. One thing that I didn't keep in mind all the time I didn't shoot was my draw length, over many years it spread out to 30 3/4 in, and at this length my bow scaled up to a bit more than 62lb... Yeah it took a lot of training to decently shoot it. I still need to work on the release A LOT! Wish I had seen something like this prior to buying the stick.

3 different yost tabs, and I just went back to a Shatterproof tab!!!! I would ask how a riser length effects draw height, but I am almost bald and neither of us can afford to lose anymore hair! lol

I think force draw curves a very interesting, especially comparing western vs Asiatic style bows with the static seyahs. I think that's how you spell that.

I am one of those with shorter arms. When I'm shooting my 45# bow I generally draw about 42#. I have friends who shoot 40# versions of the same bow, but with longer 29/30" draws (therefore also drawing 42#/43#'ish), but seem to get greater speed and flatter trajectories. Apparently the additional length of push on the arrow really makes a difference with arrow performance. I've often wondered how many extra pounds of bow weight I'd have to use to get the same performance of someone with a longer draw. Have you thought of doing a video to explain this somehow? Thanks for the great videos. - Nova Scotia
