Esme, Doing public speaking courses give quick relief. To feel better reduce negative thoughts with a simple practice. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives good relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Do the practice without any expectations. When taking a walk, in college, when reading, before sleep etc observe your breath sensations. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a good life. Reduce negative media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes--Counsellor.

it's really easy to avoid social situations in college and the best advice I can give whenever u hear the voice in your head telling you not to do something, DO IT, trust me you will feel alot better about yourself if you actually tried rather than just running away.

One thing to remember is that even the most confident-appearing people might be feeling anxious inside. You are guaranteed not to be the only one with the fears and doubts that you are having. XX

It's so hard, but we can make it, some people are born with more difficulties than others and it's just the way it is, but little by little, never giving up, we will find peace, we will find love and live an amazing live. It gets easier every day, but we have to try every day

I took the same test and I got a 57. I finally went back to college after taking a long break. But my classes are online except for 1. I hope that moving back on campus isn't too stressful for me.

I have social anxiety too and I’m a freshman in college. I started EFT tapping with a program called the Social Confidence club and there’s nothing that’s helped my anxiety like EFT tapping therapy and this program. I highly recommend looking it up and trying it out as well as the youtube channel called Social Anxiety Solutions.
