This sassy flight attendant is going viral for his tongue-in-cheek safety instructions while his plane was stuck on the tarmac due to delays.
‘It was because of that flight attendant that we all made it through that flight,’ said passenger Shahyra Monique Grant. ‘He was able to keep us all distracted with humor while we waited to takeoff.’ Grant posted footage of the flight attendant’s routine to TikTok, where it’s received 4.2M+ views.

Seriously? Why are some commenters so rude and ridiculous. Do you really hate life that much? If you are really that incompetent on what to do if an emergency happens midair, which is extremely rare, there is a booklet in the holder on the back of the seat in front of you. Try reading it. Come on.

A had a flight attendant give safety instructions and I was not listening. But at the end he said “& for those of you who were not paying attention.. good luck” and that caught my ear and I laughed so hard 🤣🤣

It’s also a wise strategy to get your passengers laughing and in a good mood before they sit for 3 hours squished in together like sardines in a tin can! I’m a teacher. I know these things. 😂

Some people are not regular fliers and can feel rather tense. His lightheartedness can really lighten the mood and hopefully make for a nice flight. You hear so much of people creating a scene, so he might be doing everyone a big favor with that type of announcing.
So true. I'm afraid of flying, and I would love someone telling me "sit back and relax or stand up and be tense, I don't care: WE'RE GONNA TAKE YOU TO PUERTO RICO ANYWAYS".
I flew on a flight with them a few months ago! They were hilarious the entire flight!

This guy is gold! We had a flight attendant that knew how to work the crowd when he was giving the safety instructions. My favorite bit was just to get our attention “To the person who dropped this wallet full of money we thank you for the generous tip. Yeah now you allll looking. You no better. No one with money flies on Southwest.” I was dying!

Wait until you find out it’s a fake video. In real life you aren’t allowed to have any fun or a sense of humor if you’re a man. Everyone is too anxious and insecure to laugh at anything no matter how funny the joke and they find a reason to get offended about anything. As a man you’re automatically seen as a threat so it’s pretty hard to get through to anybody from that disadvantage.

Flying into Panamá on COPA Airlines a few years ago as we were flying over the Panamá Canal the captain announced that we could see the canal to our left side and to the passengers on the right side of the plane he said, “o well you can see the people on your left looking at the canal” 😂😂😂

One of my favorites was when flight attendants rolled bags of peanuts down the aisle while plane was tilted during takeoff because it was a 20-minute flight. The people on the aisle (I was one) were directed to grab up enough bags as they flew by for you and everyone in your row. After the peanuts, they’re like “here come the drinks!” 😂 It was a blast and had everyone cracking up! This was obviously before COVID.
Another that I only saw on RUclips was the toilet paper race. So funny! Look it up!

The guy's name was Frankie, and he said "if you need anything, just go ahead and push that button. But people, this was a 45-minute
Flight." You really should not be pushing that button." 😅😅 He also said during the safety instructions "your seat cushion is also a flotation device, so if the plane goes down, put your arms through the straps, hold it to your chest, and run with me through the desert"

Years ago I had a hilarious flight attendant on my way to or from Puerto Rico. I joke there’s something in the water, but I think there’s something relaxed about working for those flights and the attendants were just happy and allowed to be happy so all the guests were happy. It was a little bumpy flight in an old plane, lots of peace and fun.
I wish more flight announcements would be this sassy and humorous. They can get so repetitive and boring and something fun and lighthearted like this really helps set the tone for the flight.
i'm just so impressed how fast he spoke through out the whole thing.
Which is really concerning as he is meant to be giving safety instructions. Some people will have heard these instructions 100 times but for others its their first flight in years or ever.

@@priiifrg I work in performing arts including comedy festivals so am less impressed with his routine perhaps but thats not the point. He is great, his comedy angle is great, his material is great - the issue is its just as inappropriate as the pilot doing it. Its the SAFETY message. If it were about duty free or car rentals or meal service then go for it. The safety message has to be clear and direct - by law. Thats why its repeated at every single flight regardless of if some of the passengers had flown 1000 times before.. its what to do in an emergency. Its meant to be boring. Air NZ and British Airways have amazing in flight safety videos. Funny and very entertaining BUT incredibly clear and understandable. He isnt.

It also means that those who have never flown have no clue as to what to do if there is a safety incident. By all means, when the flight is safely in the air, joke all you like about the entertainment screens or the drinks service or the meals - safety is the imperative though and his treatment of that safety announcement is dangerous. Of course it isnt if there is no safety issue but that is not the point.

My husband is Puerto Rican and we love going any chance we get, so we usually go 5 times a year. I’m just upset I have never gotten this amazing flight attendant.
P.s when you land In Puerto Rico you clap if no one claps that means you are in a plane full of tourist lol. Anywho if you have not visited the beautiful island then you are missing out.

Gucci without the G sounds like Ucci which in Japanese means home, and in some ways that make perfect sense because without the G the bag is just your home bag.
