Emppu and Tuomas have been in the same band long enough to know each other and trust each other. That's why I trust their judgement when it comes to solos. Sure, they are nice when they are in the right place, but if a song doesn't have a solo then I always think there must be an excellent artistic reason for it. I don't have the slightest clue about writing music so I'm absolutely wrong person to tell musicians what they should do. I take the music as it is, and I enjoy it as it is. :) I recall someone commented in Kai's FB about how the new song didn't have a solo, and Kai's response was something like "not this one". So let's just wait and see what the other 11 songs hold for us. :)
I don't ever think my comments will start a big debate. I usually just toss my thoughts out there for fun. Yeah, Romeo does not really like doing interviews, and he doesn't like the internet. I think if he had his own RUclips channel, it would be huge. Not even sure if he has time to do a RUclips channel. He's been on tour again, which is great. He likes playing shows. Symphony X still going strong. I think we are ready for some new songs! Been awhile since the last Symphony X album.

I love the video, man! As for my thoughts on the single, they are quite mixed. On one hand, I actually REALLY liked the song itself and thought the chorus was just sooo good! But on the other hand, in my opinion, the mix on this one (atleast some parts of it) sucked a**. It really does; not even Angels Fall First sounded this bad. I know the band has said they mixed it this way on purpose, but to me, there is no excuse for this bad mix. Sorry, but it's the truth. It just doesn't sound good.
I still dont like the mix, any version of it, whether stereo or Atmos. Its just dead, narrow and 'stuffy' feeling. I've read what the band says about it and disagree that it delivers what they claim. However I do love the song regardless. Its better than pretty much anything on the last 2 albums, so I have hope Yesterwynd will be great.
