Hi Amy! The fee increase is totally a bummer. I’m more of a buyer than a seller on Posh so that really puts a damper on my buying habits there. I know you are more interested in Posh sales, but partly thanks to you I started buying more hardgoods again and they are doing well especially on Etsy! 😊 Thanks for the pup clip, she’s so cute!
Hi Hannah! Sounds like they are changing the fee back to 20%, seller only. I was bummed from as a buyer too. Hopefully going back to the original fee is for the best. Time will tell. 😊
Sales have been terrible for me. Poshmarks fee structure is turning buyers away in my opinion. A potential buyer told me a $35 sweater would end up costing her over $50 with shipping plus the addl fees. And the $5.95 discounted shipping they have given to ambassadors is over ridden and not applied whenever you send an offer to likers. They say they are being transparent, but it feels clear as mud to me. Very disappointed. I’m glad your sales have still been great! Hope that continues for you!
@@alexandraliley9620 yes, I contacted PM and asked them how it works and they confirmed that the shipping discount is not applied when offers are sent. Bummer.
I’m a buyer on Posh & didn’t want to buy anything with the new extra fees. I was worried because if I don’t want to buy from posh than my customers won’t either. Glad they are returning old way!
My sales have been normal. No complaints from buyers. And I am making a bit more on each sale! I did take out any items under $20 out of my closet and take to buy sell trade.
Glad to hear your sales have stayed consistent. If you haven’t heard, Posh announced they are going back to the 20% seller fee. Hopefully it’s for the best. 🤞
I believe that Poshmark had started out as privately owned for almost 10 yrs. Then it went public a few years ago. The stocks opened really high on it, but then after a couple of years, if I remembering right, it started tanking. Then it was acquired by- I believe a company in South Korea- that is trying to turn things around because the company had not been profitable for years
I've seen designers during Paris fashiin week using brooches along a long lapel or belt, also there's an Australian woman who recreats designer outfits using brooches, ties, etc. She's so creative, makes me want to upcycle.
Hi Amy, my sales were okay the first week of change. I even made a little more profit. My sales now have slowed down. People aren’t making as many offers on expensive items. How are your sales going?
My sales seem to be about the same. If you haven’t heard, Posh announced that they are going back to the 20% fee structure. Hopefully it’s for the best. 🤞
Oh, geez, I didn't even think about the different sales taxes depending on where you live! That's so crappy that PM is charging the fees based on the price, shipping AND sales tax which changes on where the buyer lives. It gets worse. I just revived my eBay store and am contemplating listing there although I dread the mess that eBay is, but learning from you that eBay also charges fees based on sales taxes is adding extra dread. It's been years since I listed there. You're so smart to connect the higher shipping fees on eBay to possibly why shoppers could still buy from PM even with the new fee structure. Although I too have been getting extra low-ball offers on even cheaper stuff, I agree with you that they will get used to the new fees. However, most of those low-ballers could be non-eBay buyers, so we shall see. Funny story: I was perusing knickknacks on PM to get comps and I ran across some stuff a seller had for $$20-30 that was sold at $tree ($1.25)! I so wanted to leave her a comment that those were $1.25 at $tree, but I behaved and looked away. lol Hugs, Amy!
Hi Nancy! Posh announced today that they are changing the fees back to 20%. Hopefully it’s for the best, I really prefer the straightforward fee. I still think it’s a good idea for us to diversify. 😘
@@thriftadventure I just saw that email! Glad they saw the effects on the entire community. I feel bad for those that paid more and lost $ and sales. FBMP has been pretty good for me and want to try furniture consignment next.
Poshmark needs to clean house/declutter. I have had a lot of troll accounts in my closet. For the past 3or 4 days - immediately following a listing being posted - I get a like then a rude comment in the comment section. I don’t have time for this - Do better Poshmark. Clean out the trolls. Also - do as Chairish does - have a minimum of X amount of items to actually be able to sell on the platform. Posh is drowning in “dead” closets which just slows down the process. I’ve had to block people- one person who was stalking a listing and constantly sending the same low ball offer. I delisted the item then relisted it - same offer from the buyer. So I blocked them and a few others. Posh needs to get it in gear and clean house. Just my thoughts. Ok … rant over …. And …. The Ripka necklace took my breath away !! 🩷💚

Same situation for me, only a couple of small sales. Thank you for sharing what the buyer noticed, I did not know they lost our shipping discount.

I have noticed an uptick in brooch sales over the last couple of weeks. I sure hope the trend catches on because I have SOOO many brooches!
First time watching and I am in love with your videos...
Thank you so much!! 🥰🥰
Wonderful to see your sales picking up. The leather tooled purse was stunning, i think it was closer to 1960 era.
Thank you so much! ❤️
Congrats on the great sales, Amy! My sales have been way up this month on Posh. Glad yours are popping back up too. 😊
Thank you! So glad to hear your sales are up! 💰💰💰
Congratulations on Cherish sales! Nice video
Thank you! 💗
Great sales! Thanks🌷My sales have been normal and better than last year. I think that’s due to being more selective in my sourcing this year.
Thank you! Great to hear your sales have been good. 😊
Way to go. Hope you had some great pick ups today at the sale.
Thank you! Looked like you got some good stuff! 💰
