Helo. Mae eich fideos yn hyfryd (since you’re Welsh 😊) Really enjoying your videos - their “in the moment” feel, the gorgeous scenery and let’s not forget, the constant and cheerful banter between the two of you 😄 We live in Chennai, India now, but nearly three decades ago, we lived in your part of the world - and explored all of Wales, from the mountains of Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons, the spectacular beaches of Pembrokeshire to the quietly beautiful valleys in the south with their (even back then) defunct coal mining towns. And I think we must’ve visited almost every castle in South Wales! 😂 The scenery was very different to what you’ve experienced here in India, but just as beautiful. And the people were so nice and friendly… just like the two of you, I reckon! Safe travels wherever you go, and hope you make it back to India sometime in the not too distant future Have a wonderful 2025 👍😊
Thank you so much for the kind words and for taking the time to share your memories! It’s incredible to hear about your adventures in Wales - you’ve painted such a vivid picture of its beauty and charm. We absolutely love the diversity of landscapes there too, and it’s wonderful to know you explored so much of it. India has been such a special experience for us, and you’re absolutely right - the scenery is completely different but equally breathtaking. The warmth and friendliness of the people here have left a lasting impression on us, just as you described about Wales. Wishing you a fantastic 2025 as well, and who knows - maybe we’ll cross paths in India again someday! Safe travels and thank you for being part of our journey!
Hi Sean and Emily, Wow those temperatures in India, I would pass out in those temperatures, I struggle in uk temperature of 20c, I think it's to do with my maturing years 😅, It's okay for you youngsters 😅, I wouldn't want those big monkeys running on my roof, even birds make enough noise, enjoyed the video as always.Best wishes Roy in England 😊.
Hi Roy, yeah and apparently this was teh 'cooler' season. It was tough at first but you do get used to the warm weather after a while (missing it now we are back in Switzerland and its now the extreme opposite minus degrees at the moment 🤣). These monkey really were big and i guess they are still relatively small they must make such a racket! Glad you enjoyed it and always nice to hear from you Roy
in india you get many different temperatures at the same time somewhere in country is -15 and at the same time somewhere is 45 degrees in summer and in winters its 25 to 30 in south somewhere to 0 in north and -40 in himalayas
You made a modification? I thought you were bragging 😀 The jungle looks so delicious and tempting to blast through on an enduro bike. That wouldn't end well though.
haha 😂 needed some more airflow lol, Yeah for sure that forest looked like it needed exploring but we dread to think what would await you in there! (big cats and snakes 😲)
@@SeanandEmily Us true explorers prefer the path less travelled. I'm terrible for taking an unsigned road because the first 50m looks interesting. (In hot climates, those poisonous millipedes worry me).
How good was Calimoto for you guys in India? As a local, I find that it often charts routes that send me into unknown and tiny villages in the quest for "twisties" or "winding roads" which sort of become tedious and I end up using google maps instead.
Yeah it worked well for us, as you say it really does find the twisty routes. But you can change the setting between twisty and curvy or fastest for each section of the route -which is what we do if we don't like certain parts of the calculated route - so just drop a via point at the start and finish of the parts you like the look of and change the other sides to fastest route. We also like it because we can easily put the routes onto our GPS navigator
Hallo, we enjoy your video's a lot, thanx for that, but thair is one thing what worry's us, Emmely, why did you oftend not closing your helmet propely, it is mutch saver when you click the button at the end of your strap. Have a save trip😊
Thanks for your concern but don't worry too much as the little button is more of a comfort thing so it doesn't flap around against your chin/neck. But what keeps the strap on is the D-ring not the button. 😊👍
We are using calimoto to plan the route then loading the GPX file onto the navigator ( you can also use the app directly to navigate) We will eventually put a link to the route on the episodes like we have done with past tours and if people have the full version it's possible to save the route yourself. Here's a link to a free 30 day trial but you have to set it up on a web browsers otherwise it doesn't work. 30-day free trial code: seanandemily30 10% discount code: seanandemily10 (note: these codes can only be used after the user has created an account and using a web browser and not through the App) calimoto.app.link/sean_and_emily
Enjoying your adventures in India Somewhere I have never thought of touring on a bike myself but enjoying you both travelling seat on my sofa What helmets are you using and bike gear for the heat
Hi Phillip, thanks we are happy to take you along 😊 We have the BMW GS pure helmets which were really cool (never felt our heads got hot) Suits are the Rallye suits from 2024, ideally we would have had the Rallye air but couldn’t justify another suit just for this trip. They were however pretty good at keeping us cool when moving which is impressive for a one for all suit 😎💪🏻
Hello from Goa, I have been following your channel for a week now! Old Goa is usually a city of Churches and Currently the exposition of St. Francis Xavier's body is on till the 5th of January and pilgrims from all all the globe have been coming to venerate the Saint. The huge monkey jumping onto the roof are Lungurs . Cashews were introduced to goa by the Portuguese, the nuts are processed and sold but the cashew fruit is a yummy sweet a bit sour and the juice is processed to make a lovely seasonal drink called Uraak' and the other matured called Feni' both alcoholic 😊
Hi, thanks for following and we hope you are enjoying the series 😊. Thanks for the info, that would explain the large crowds -glad we didn't stop as we were not dressed for the occasion. Ah they are Lungurs - we were wondering what they were as we saw them again a few times -beautiful creatures but probably trouble makers for the locals 😁 Thanks again for your comment 😊🙏
@SeanandEmily Yeah you will see lots of langurs and macaques during your travel in and around goa also when you head down to South India, You have to be very careful around macaques they are usually very inquisitive and will not hesitate to grab your belonging and run up a tree or up a wall, if you try and chase them they can become very aggressive and will attack as a pack! I wouldn't even recommend feeding them as that is the biggest mistake most people do, South goa is pretty chilled laid back, though it might be a bit crowded this time of the year and offcourse with the new year coming in. Agonda, Patnem, Palolem are some amazing locations, Visit the Galjibag beach in Canacona district.
Dont miss unique Three kings feast celebrated with such zeal and fanfare only in Goa in entire Asia east of Suez and tour Cansaulim hillock close to Dabolim airport on January 6 th morning, then drive to Church at Chandor ,Salcete and in evening visit the breathtaking Reis de Magos church on banks of Mandovi river for which you need to take road from Betim going to Verem. Feast of Three Kings is unique to Goa on January 6 th and only these three places celebrate it.
Thanks for your suggestions 😊🙏🏻 this sounds great but we have now left India and are making the videos. We hope you enjoy the rest of the series -lots more episodes to come 👍🏻
Since you love nature and animals, you will enjoy riding through Bandipur, Nagerhole and Muthimalai National Parks. All three are a single forest range with different names. Bandipur and Nagerhole is in Karnataka and Muthumalai is in Tamilnadu State. There is a very good chance that you will see Elephants and deers, and if you are really lucky you might see a tiger! Please don't travel after 5 pm as it is a thick forest it could be dark even at 5 pm( National Parks are closed from 9 pm to 6 am to allow for the free movement of wild animals)! and if you are traveling through these national parks please try to reach your destination during the day time itself as there will be more animals on the road when its getting darker. You will see plenty of vehicles passing through during the day time here, so you will not be alone. Riding via Bandipur and Nagerhole is easy but the Muthumalai national Park road leading to Ooty has 36 hairpin bends with steep climbs. So if you don't like this adventure, please avoid it. All the best wishes.
Hi, thanks so much the recommendations. These national parks sound amazing! We wont be able to get to them on this short tour but we will certainly add your suggestions to our list for next time. Many thanks 😊🙏
@@SeanandEmily Absolutely. It's a diverse country with glimpses of the east and west. Just like any other nation to be honest. Growing up in Nigeria, studying in the UK and working in New Zealand, I can stand by this notion. :) Thumbs up.
@@SeanandEmily Yes yes yes. You guys will definitely enjoy India with a positive mind set. Can see the potential. ; There are a whole bunch of bars and social outfits where young professionals meet. That'll give you guys a taste of what most of India is about. Going to all these random spots with hustlers and trashcans will only ruin the experience. There is a spot called 'social' which is pretty popular. Check that out. -Google is always there for options-. Lots of friendly peeps and scope to make new friends!!!

I read you have mentioned somewhere that you will be back to India for a northern trip. will be waiting 😊. stay safe and all the best for your next adventure👍 🙋♂
yeah makes sense, some people like to watch places they probably don't want to travel to and others like to watch videos that they will travel to 😊. Yeah we really would like to come back and travel the North of India (as well as lots of others places here) but we have no fixed plan yet. Still lots more episodes on the way for this series 😎
Hi both, really enjoyable tour I must say, though the heat and humidity can drain you very quickly, and you definitely shouldn't apologise for not wearing make up you have a lovely complexion. Good job you didn't have the brakes on though when that car rolled back on to you, a buckled wheel would have been a right pain. Thank you.
Hi Stephen, we really enjoyed the tour too (some people here really don't understand that we aren't complaining about the heat it's just it's taking some time to get used to) actually all this heat and humidity is doing our skin great -not sure about the fumes from the trucks though 🤣. Yeah Sean let them off as soon as the car started rolling back -fortunately the car behind had actually left some space for us to roll back too!
@ I’m right now in this place n this is first time to be right in the middle of the forest n me n my family love it, if u plan make sure u prebook the room 1 or 2 days before as u may or may not find room as its season now
Hi Emily, you can't blame Sean for reducing speed or even stopping for a cows. He is doing that to prevent you for being thrown on the back of the cow, which would be a very uncomfertable ride. He loves you the most when you are guiding hij from the back of the bike. You made ma laugh anyway. 😎🤣👍
@@SeanandEmily Yes Himalayan reigon just received it's first snowfall and will be cold. Although Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, etc in the plains are maintaining a crispy 15-20 degrees during the day. Closer to your route, You may also check out Munnar and Ooty towards the south for some stunning landscapes. Nevertheless, best of luck on your journey and thank you for sharing it with us.
Do not venture on foot alone in the Jungle, there could be deadly snakes like the Indian Cobra and Python. Snakes usually like cool places and also hunt their prey like birds, rats, monkeys, cows etc.
@@SeanandEmily You are welcome. I had very close call with a python once while playing Hide-N-Seek when I was little. It was about 7pm, just after sunset. I went to hide next to a bush with a coiled python beside me. It had big pebble pattern on it. The moment I saw it, I ran for my dear life.
wondering why you sit in traffic? I ride a Honda Goldwing and live in California and I never get held up as I use lane sharing (traffic splitting) so traffic jams are no problem. Enjoy your travels, not so much India, but loved your UK travels as I was born in Scotland. I am 77 now and been riding many years. Stay Safe!
I believe you’ve mentioned you lane spilt on your gold wing before which is awesome 😎 but you need to remember America has massive lanes and so much space. In India every vehicle is fighting to get to the front and there’s little to no room between the vehicles -so lane splitting is difficult. Glad you enjoyed the uk tour -the Scotland rides where amazing!!! Nice that you were born in Scotland but I bet you prefer the weather in California!! thanks very much and all the best to you too 😎👍🏻
Those cows arent grazing in the rainforest 😂 Those tall slim trees are arecanut trees - they produce betel nuts which is used as stimulant and in the Indian pan . They are one of the main cash crops in the coast.
@SeanandEmily damn I thought Decathlons were popular in UK too as they sell camping and hiking gears too.. check them out its a well know brand and have alot of outlets all over the world.
You said quite right - peoples must learn at least from cows and buffaloes - how to be in lane while driving and crossing - many places cattle stop and move with traffic lights - but very rare like in Nagpur and Nashik and 1 or 2 more. Many times I stop in middle of the road if some one raising horns unnecessarily - this is very bad practice actually - just wait and watch, when law makers wake up for unnecessary beep beep enroute ......🙏🙏💞
Totally agree - road sense is a big issue in some places! Thanks for your comment it's good to know that locals like yourself have the same feelings towards road safety. 😎💪
Cows and monkeys, goats or pigs...the land belongs to everyone isn't it?? Arrogance of humans to believe that they can own the land, shouldn't be seen in the country that has been a colony, not so long ago. And of course, India is land of spirituality, so there are those reasons too. Glad to see that at least, Indians have learnt to accommodate and tolerate other beings too, no matter how irritating, some appear. Still learning about new culture aren't we?? Learning curves are steep and requires a lot of humility. I am sure with all the modern education and information available today, that should not be a problem, at all. Knowledge reflects in the intelligent observations, one makes anyways. Keep learning and keep enjoying your travels, as much as we enjoy your vlogs. All the best!!!
Yes we agree with you there, it's so sad that humans are destroying the habitats that the animals live in. Lot's to learn and that's the joy of travel 😊🙏

Yes, the road less traveled is the one to be on. Nice ride!
Couldn’t agree more, so glad you enjoyed it 😊
Helo. Mae eich fideos yn hyfryd (since you’re Welsh 😊)
Really enjoying your videos - their “in the moment” feel, the gorgeous scenery and let’s not forget, the constant and cheerful banter between the two of you 😄
We live in Chennai, India now, but nearly three decades ago, we lived in your part of the world - and explored all of Wales, from the mountains of Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons, the spectacular beaches of Pembrokeshire to the quietly beautiful valleys in the south with their (even back then) defunct coal mining towns. And I think we must’ve visited almost every castle in South Wales! 😂
The scenery was very different to what you’ve experienced here in India, but just as beautiful. And the people were so nice and friendly… just like the two of you, I reckon!
Safe travels wherever you go, and hope you make it back to India sometime in the not too distant future
Have a wonderful 2025 👍😊
@@SeanandEmily Thank you so much for replying. Best wishes 😊👍

Very nice guys 😊
Thank you 😀
Enjoy goa trip ❤u. Both I am from goa
Thanks! Hope you enjoyed the video 😎👍
Wait, it's almost January and it's hot there in Goa? We're enjoying the winter here in Northeast India.
Yes South India never actually gets cold 😉
Finally after 5 ..6 days after watching boring roads and traffic you decide to go through Forest n nature . Good 👍 😅
no roads are boring if you are a real rider!!
It’s not like we went out of our way to find find the busy roads 🤣 -it was a refreshing ride for us too although we had some great rides on the way.
also check itchy boots india bike series of a solo dutch girl norali
@@diveshtomar9044 lol have seen her entire playlist!!
Which app are you using for Navigation? Where are loading that GPX file?
We are using calimoto to plan the route then loading the GPX file onto the navigator ( you can also use the app directly to navigate)
We will eventually put a link to the route on the episodes like we have done with past tours and if people have the full version it's possible to save the route yourself.
Here's a link to a free 30 day trial but you have to set it up on a web browsers otherwise it doesn't work.
30-day free trial code: seanandemily30
10% discount code: seanandemily10
(note: these codes can only be used after the user has created an account and using a web browser and not through the App)

Enjoying your adventures in India
Somewhere I have never thought of touring on a bike myself but enjoying you both travelling seat on my sofa
What helmets are you using and bike gear for the heat
Hi Phillip, thanks we are happy to take you along 😊
We have the BMW GS pure helmets which were really cool (never felt our heads got hot)
Suits are the Rallye suits from 2024, ideally we would have had the Rallye air but couldn’t justify another suit just for this trip. They were however pretty good at keeping us cool when moving which is impressive for a one for all suit 😎💪🏻
The crowd at the Old Goa church was for the exposition of St Francis Xavier, lots of history behind it
Thanks for the information-probably best we didn’t go in as we were not dressed for the occasion.
That's our village where you both stopped at Big big tree before you entered Ponda town.
Like your bike riding vlogs as I m also trying to so same 😊
What a lovely place you live! We really enjoyed riding though this area 😊
Ah they are Lungurs - we were wondering what they were as we saw them again a few times -beautiful creatures but probably trouble makers for the locals 😁
Thanks again for your comment 😊🙏
@SeanandEmily Yeah you will see lots of langurs and macaques during your travel in and around goa also when you head down to South India, You have to be very careful around macaques they are usually very inquisitive and will not hesitate to grab your belonging and run up a tree or up a wall, if you try and chase them they can become very aggressive and will attack as a pack! I wouldn't even recommend feeding them as that is the biggest mistake most people do,
South goa is pretty chilled laid back, though it might be a bit crowded this time of the year and offcourse with the new year coming in. Agonda, Patnem, Palolem are some amazing locations, Visit the Galjibag beach in Canacona district.
I've heard it's the last time they'd be doing the exposition, is that true?
@@joshuagormanly2475 I have heard too myself but dont really know if it is gonna be the last exposition or not!
Come to netravali
Thanks
Cow and monkey watch😂 that is so funny😂
Great episode!
🤣🤣🐮🙈 -always happy to be able to provide both cows and monkeys in one episode 💪🏻😁
@@SeanandEmily Nagerhole is 65 kms from Madikeri. You are welcome. Have a wonderful trip.
Thanks for being optimistic and positive. :) Hyper critical = 'telling the world that the UK = Camden'. Bon voyage.
It's all about embracing the differences between countries and cultures, right? 😊
@@SeanandEmily Absolutely. It's a diverse country with glimpses of the east and west. Just like any other nation to be honest. Growing up in Nigeria, studying in the UK and working in New Zealand, I can stand by this notion. :) Thumbs up.
wow that's a cool life experience you've had already!
Nice vlogs ❤
Thanks for watching 😎👍
heyy.. really love your content. Thanks for giving us a tour😊. One request.. If possible please upload a lengthier video. At least of 30 min 😁.
Thanks, Glad you are enjoying the content. Length of video really depends on the how the day went, sometimes they are longer videos and sometimes they need to be spilt in to shorter videos.

@@SeanandEmily Ohhk.. got it. Thanks for sharing the link. Great videos there. It might sound different but honestly the videos of places i probably would visit or have already visited interests me more. would love to see you back.
❤

The exposition of St. Francis Xavier is held every 10years.He is the patron Saint of Goa! ❤
Thanks fur the information -that’s why it was so busy 😊👍🏻
Hi Emily, you can't blame Sean for reducing speed or even stopping for a cows. He is doing that to prevent you for being thrown on the back of the cow, which would be a very uncomfertable ride. He loves you the most when you are guiding hij from the back of the bike. You made ma laugh anyway. 😎🤣👍
Hi Ruud! Haha from the GS cow to a real cow - at least it would still have a heated seat 🤣
Always happy to have made you laugh 😊👍
Try butterfly beach
Funny you should mention that - that's where we are heading in this episode 😎👍

Do not venture on foot alone in the Jungle, there could be deadly snakes like the Indian Cobra and Python. Snakes usually like cool places and also hunt their prey like birds, rats, monkeys, cows etc.
That's enough reason for us to stay out of the jungle! Thanks for the heads up!
Do you have any plans to visit Tamil Nadu on this trip?
Yes but only briefly 👍🏻
Have a trip to kashmir, ladakh, himachal pradesh, uttarakhand... The scenic beauties of these area will blow your mind❤
Yeah this is a trip for another day (and another time of the year) 😎👍
wondering why you sit in traffic?
Nice that you were born in Scotland but I bet you prefer the weather in California!! thanks very much and all the best to you too 😎👍🏻
Try cashew liquor known as feni
Now that sounds good!!

Those cows arent grazing in the rainforest 😂 Those tall slim trees are arecanut trees - they produce betel nuts which is used as stimulant and in the Indian pan . They are one of the main cash crops in the coast.
looked like they were eating the grass 😁 - but maybe those cows were just having a good time lol 🤣

See if you have any decathalon stores on the way, they sell good quality dry-fits and most sports related equipment/apparel at affordable rates.
Not sure what they are but thanks for watching 😎👍🏻
@SeanandEmily damn I thought Decathlons were popular in UK too as they sell camping and hiking gears too.. check them out its a well know brand and have alot of outlets all over the world.
Yes they are all over Europe but we don't need anything at the moment (or did we can't remember what we said lol 😆)
Stay safe. Avoid night ride and camping outside. Safe safe.
You're absolutely right, it's best to be cautious! 😊 We did take plenty of precautions and stuck to well-lit roads.
come to kerala guys
We do later in the series 😎💪
Optimus Prime is relaxing right now guys😊😅❤🎉🎉🎉
