It is a jegs intake for an ls1 and eBay fuel rails and factory injectors but make shur you get the fuel rails that has the injectors at a slant and not straight up and down or you will have a bad leak!
Hey just found your channel and sorry in advance if somebody already asked this but what dash/gauge setup do you have? LS swapping my second gen and I would love to switch over to that style of dash if it’s a swappable dash I don’t want to have to cut up my factory garage cluster however in case I ever wanted to go back. TIA!
I'm thinking about swapping a 5.3 into my second gen Camaro. How did y'all accomplish the clearance with the stock hood? I know sometimes with the tall alternator or intake, a cowl hood is necessary. I really want to keep the stock hood though.
I used a jegs low intake and a f body oil pan swap and some cheap eBay weld on motors mounts then I set the motor a close to the cross member as possible an all clears really well
@@boostedz72 Thanks! I appreciate the response. I hadn't seen a ton on the forums about the specific clearances, so I figured I'd just ask someone who already did the swap.
Heck ya no problem I have had a few people ask about it so I was thankin here in the next few day I will make a video on it with the parts and part numbers you will need to do it and mods you will need as well cause I went through the same thang were I want to keep the stock hood I love Cawl hood but I didn’t thank it was right for this build!!
@@CamaroMan79 right on it’s pretty easy swap for shur we will have some new videos up here soon of the Camaro we are swapping in a boosted 5.3 with single turbo should be a better detailed video of how we are doing it should be a super fun streetcar!
