Rest in peace Bernard Hill, who joins his fathers, in whose mighty company, he shall now be received as Theoden, forever the King of Rohan
This theme hits different from now on...
"Eowyn, my body is broken, you have to let me go. I go now to my fathers, in who's mighty company I shall now not feel ashamed".
OK, before anyone else says it, who came to this video after hearing about the actors death?
Gandalf, Aragorn, and Legolas arrived at Edoras as the flag flew off, reflected in Éowyn's desperate eyes. This is one of the most memorable moments in cinematic history when Rohan's theme was forever imprinted on my heart.
Howard Shore created one of the greatest soundtracks of any movie series in history, and I'd say even John Williams' iconic score from Star Wars would be given a run for its money with LOTR 😊
James Horner's score on braveheart is also a VERY good one.
I think with regards to how much it elevates the movies themselves, I think Howard's score beats star wars
I love the star wars soundtrack, but it feels like music added over the movie, whereas lord of the rings feels like the music is an integral part of the movies
And Howard Shore didn't blatantly rip of Korngold also....
@@generichuman_ George Lucas wanted that piece but couldn't get the rights to it so he asked Williams to make it based on that.
It isn't William's fault, it's Lucas'.
RIP Bernard Hill 🫡
Rest now King of Kings
Thank you random YT algorythm for sharing this on the main page, although nothing beats the original, this is just freaking awesome👏
Brought a tear to my eye. Very passionate performance.
anyone else getting scenes from the movies flashed into memory by listening? howard shore, in my opinion, doesn´t get enough recognition for his contribution on making the lrd of the rings such great movies. everyone talks about the cast, the story, the sets or the costumes seldom people mention how great the music fits and elevates the scenes
Great arrangement, includes almost all of the core rohan themes and tells the full tale. Amazing work, thank you!
Just so you know, I’m learning this rn!
That was truely incredible and I deffs need sheet music
I swear to god, every piano song i see i'm like: you know what, i think i can play th- nevermind.
this is awesome, gave me chills! so glad the algorithm recommended it!
i love that Lord of the Rings content!

Its so beautiful
Out of doubt, out of dark, to the day’s rising
he rode singing in the sun, sword unsheathing.
Hope he rekindled, and in hope ended;
over death, over dread, over doom lifted
out of loss, out of life, unto long glory.
- Dirge of King Théoden
Rest in peace, Bernard Hill
Awesome!
don't get why you're getting so much criticism, this is beautifully played and presented. bravo 👏👏👏
Wow!
Great work!
RIDE FOR RUIN, AND THE WORLDS ENDING!!!!
Thank you
Very nicely done. Bravo!
Bellissima 💯💯💯👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Awsome!🥰
This is great!
Awesome version, you inspired me to practice and record this song 😁
Uaulll !!!! 😍❤️❤️
Thanks so so much!
Forth Eorlingas!
good rendition, but to improve it i would cut down on the use of sustain, there are muliple points where a more staccato approach would have helped. Be careful not to use sustain as a crutch for your playing, it can easily muddy the sound. But good cover :3
Chills at 0:35 🥶
Gondor calls for aid!!
Lord of the rings Rohan❤ ❤❤. ❤❤
I'd love a good MIDI file for this! Any chance you have that?
Pm me on instagram, link in the description
I´d love to hear a 1 octave up version on the right hand side, keeping the deep tones the same. Right now they kind of blend a bit too much. Even if the piece is beautifully played and displayed :D
i would love to have this sheet, sounds perfect :D Could you send it to me ? Of course i'll buy you a coffee with great pleasure !
The sheets will arrive soon on Musicnotes.com. The link will be in the description of the video. You can always follow me on instagram to know when I release new sheets :)
COULD YOU DO THE CREATOR BY MIKE RODGERS YOUR SO GOOD 🙏
Good idea! Just heard it a few days ago. Its beautiful
@@LaurieThebergeit really is! its one of my new favorites:3
You need to work on adding a bit of drama into your playng. It's very mechanical. It's obviously impressive that you're hitting the notes and the timing but this music NEEDS emotion in it. It needs rise and fall. It needs climax, It needs drama.
Are you capable of that?
He does sound very mechanical.
@@tyrellthiel2201 What if he doesn‘t? Does that make his critique invalid?
@@benjaminkaiser3337 his critique is subjective and not based on quantitative analysis
@@DefenestrateYourself How the hell would you measure the amount of emotion brought into this piece?
nope
Yup
Rohan is a fictional kingdom of men in the tolkien books
I thought it was down the road
Lol
Very interesting copy from Patrik Pietschmann, you could have at least come up with your own design and screen layout, no?
Still, nice video and well played
He’s the first one that did it so obviously a bunch of channels after him are gonna be ‘copies’. But hes my inspiration so for me its more like a tribute. Anyways I don’t play at all at his level so I can’t be compared
it was van gogh trying to make an modern art stupidity
played it too slow
Nope.
Yeah I just sped the video up a bit. 1.25 times speed
