Bourbon Hunting at the new JTE in Frankenmuth, MI

- We are back! We were away for too long due to being sick and from being on vacation, but now we are in front of the video camera again!
There is more than just a CHRISTmas Wonderland up north! Dawn and I went on a weekend vacation up to Frankenmuth, MI and we found a gem of a liquor store there named JTE, short for "Just the Essentials." It was a very new and well stocked liquor store with a few surprises up its sleeve.
If you have never been to the Christmas destination of Frankenmuth, MI and especially Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland, you should consider traveling there. We will have a video on that on our other channel soon.

After watching this today we hopped in the car to check it out, I walked in and said “What’s up Blake” 😂 he was startled at first then I told him we watched this. Walked out with a Penelope Barrel Strength. Thanks for the tip on this great place

Oh the memories, I remember going up to Bronners with my mom and neighbor as a kid, and thig brought back a lot of memories of them both.

Right!! A lot of bourbon we haven't seen. Of course, a lot of those were craft bourbon distilleries in Michigan but it was really nice to see such a great liquor store!! We didn't get to meet the owner but by the looks of this store, he is going to be very successful here!!

Duke single barrels are rumored to be Wild Turkey. Those Peppers are distilled by Pepper, not sourced. Decent but not spectacular. The newer decanter one is pretty good.
Huh!? Very interesting!! We'll have to check both of those out, especially the Pepper! If there is a distillery we haven't visited, put it on our list!! :-)

Just stopped by the store last night and grabbed a doc Swinson but shelves were very picked over and empty compared to your visit

Very cool, we are about a half hour away from Frankenmuth. You shouldn't have passed on the JD SBBP Rye. It is spectacular
lol. Well, we passed on it at JTE but ended up getting it at Texas Mart anyway. So hope you are right about it being spectacular! ;-)
