    New character! Oh my god I am obsessed over this character. The gimmick. The Stage. The SOUNDTRACK.
    First impressions of this character are great. While I don't think Scare works the way it is intended (I.E I feel like the CPU knows it is coming 100% of the time, but maybe they are programmed to wait for the Ghost shot on occasions. Idk) I'm happy to use it on another character.
    The cost of Murky is CRAZY! 1 NP short from being equal to Booster! However, it gives you access to some really nice "states". Status effects/buffs. (Even access to Sharp/Spring/Wall!)
    The red rod is a neat item in my opinion. Combined with sticker bomb, it offers Acto some crazy burst damage at the cost of suffering from feeble after. sticker bomb WILL increase feeble. So take that time to focus on using Dig and Murky is you can.
    Now let's talk about Amp. I think I understand the reason to charge yourself? Because of compressor, it will let you keep up some buffs Plus it let's you use things like Thunder taiko or the Ancient stinger. At least, I think that's the purpose of Amp. I don't use it unless I have those items that benefits you from having Charge. There's no real reason to charge yourself IMO. Maybe it could be useful if you somehow time an Amp when you have your barrier up? It sounds unlikely.
    While I am here. I want to do a few PSA.
    If you haven't read the patch notes, Soul shots can now bypass barriers! This means skills like Rolling will give status effects and damage if applicable. They will also bypass Dodge!
    Talking of Dodge, the tooltip got changed!
    Soul, Water, Ground and Grass shots will now bypass Dodge.
    Honestly, It kind of takes away to magic of Gulai, but I'll have to play Gulai this patch. Black obi got changed to apply 4 guard instead of dodge, and Gulai now as 1 less mirage and 1 more ambre.
    Also, the thick notebook tooltip got fixed after this run. You can report translation errors in the discussion page on Steam. under "Localization issues". It is one of the pinned topics. I'm doing my part. :)

    It's actually a secondary win-con for Acto. The primary is to stack up as many statuses as possible and overwhelm the opponent with high damage unpredictable attacks, but Charge can (it *should* have been able to for a while, but it was bugged) be passed onto opponents if you hit them with attacks they don't block. You Amp then hit the opponent and transfer Charge, adding risk of them overloading.
    Personally really like what they did with her from Reprise, keeping her random status gimmick but making it easier to digest. Murky's cost feels fair and is actually integral to her kit (Booster for Lph still feels clunky, honestly) and Amp is an interesting cart you can skip out on if you feel you don't want that extra Charge.

      Oh that makes amp (and Charge as a whole) alot more interesting to use, knowing this. I'm totally into it. :D
