I heard that Ginger Root's sound was influenced by YMO, and I was impressed by how YMO has been fused with the sensibilities of a new generation. Ginger Root's music has confirmed to me how the musical path that YMO pioneered continues to have a huge impact. I am grateful once again that YMO was born in Japan, and that their music has had such a profound impact on the world.
