    A highly rewarding talk by Zizek. In fact, I was surprised at the high intellectual level of it. Fresh ideas and terminology too. I enjoyed listening to it. Deserved to be listened to, every word of it. Thank you!

      I don't know, most of the questions the interviewer posed are extremely generic, and it doesn't really help that half of Zizek's answers get interrupted midway.

      This is a popular tv and mostly interested (currently) in glorifying the Barzani regime. So, we should not expect more. And the interviewer does not seem to have more than ordinary intellectual capacity. Still, Zizek was very clear (in most other talks he does show some ambiguity) and conveyed his ideas very well. @@bottlebeard

    I was very ashamed to see such an intellectual man allow himself to be cut down. Look at the so-called respectful public

    Why on earth would you invite a guest if you’re short on time. The interruptions were often disrespectful!

    I think it is useless to be asking him about the ukraine issue on a kurdish platform - we have the time of one of the most renowned philosphers of our time and you spend time asking him about ukraine?

    I love the interviewer's cold intervention while the philosopher of the time is praising Kurds people's culture.

    Thanks to the philosopher Mr. Žižek. But your interview is really bad. Because he introduces irrelevant questions and frequently interrupts the philosopher. As a Kurd, this is not something I can accept. This situation is unacceptable when there are many respected and expert people who will represent our nation against Zizek.

    You guys are actively trying to sabotage his positiv view of Kurdistan or why are you so disrespectful?

    • @Goshoonkeys
      @Goshoonkeys 11 месяцев назад +2

      Exactly. Even the most progressive societies might be too arrogant to understand the utter need of international solidarity, sometimes. To listen to Zizeks assessment without being respectless, is counting to that, I'm afraid.. Even a society like the Kurds have to overcome cultural differences in talks with people, who speak up for their sovereignty. They should hire a better interviewer.

    I'm wondering about this guy saying Basha again and again. The Kurds don't have a pro who can speak English? This guy was speaking over the guest for no reason

    I believe it is the case that the French and British decided that did not want to guarantee the existence Kurdish independent state. The French and British could have drawn the map differently, but they chose not to out of fear. Fear that Kurdistan would be invaded anyway. France and Britain didn't want to get sucked into a military conflict in the middle east while they had plenty of colonial territorial disputes already.

    • @aalassadi3844
      @aalassadi3844 Год назад

      The French and British couldn't care less about anyone in that region. All they wanted and want is to continue destabilization and chaos so the region never rise up and become a military, cultural and economic competitor to the west. This is why now all of the sudden all the western media barks Muhh Kurds. The truth is the Kurds are very unagreeable, warlike and bloodhound people. They lack civility and have no capacity to negotiate differences. They want to solve political problems with bullying and bloodshed. That is why you see America troops escorts their militias in Syria. They have been ethnic cleanings Northern Syria for the last 10 years. The project of Kurdish nationalism has no chance of seeing the light because it goes against history and geography. The west support for the Kurds stem from their hatred of the whole region but the Average Kurds is so geopolitically illiterate and irritational to comprehend this.
