You Sir and Mr. Ronno were the first rock show I've been out to see: in a club, front row (Montréal, Club Soda in Sept. 1989). I was 18 and it made me wanna RockNRoll! I already knew most of your songs then and it was a really great night. I still love your new stuff, Defiance 1&2 are nice little jems and it's good to see some of rock royalty (I mean... Jeff!) and seasoned rockers collaborating with you! Thanks for still regaling us with your works!
I wish I could pull off your legendary look and style, Ian. But, people who get fitted for boots probably wouldnt get it. Thanks for an amazing contribution to music and harmony. Communicators are the key to worldwide peace.
Oh the memories! First gig I ever went to was Mott The Hoople supported by Paul Rodgers’ Peace. Awesome night and the Maltese Cross guitar looked amazing. Thank you!
Ian Hunter Rocks!!! Can't wait for "Defiance Part 2" in a few days. I have been a fan since I first heard Mott The Hoople in 1969. Somehow, Ianjust keeps getting better and better.
That original Maltese cross guitar was a true piece of rock ‘n roll iconography, even if it did sound awful. What a lovely guy Joe Elliot is, as is Ian
Ian, PLEASE!!! Come out with "God take 2" before you retire. Boy, It Ain’t Easy When You Fall / Shades Off, and God take 1. These are 3 of the GREATEST songs ever written. Love you :)
First single I ever bought was Roll Away the Stone by Mott the Hoople and some of your new stuff is absolutely as good as Mott of old. Keep on rock in’ Ian ❤
i saw the Ian Hunter Band with Mick Ronson ( 22nd October 1981; MR had a new short hair cut at this concert which seemed to fit him!)at the now defunct Wolf & Rissmiller's Country Club in Reseda CA(my childhood residence)...ʕ´•ᴥ•`ʔ ᶠᵘⁿ ᶠᵃᶜᵗ!🌳🌲🌴
Hello Ian, what a crazy looking AXE it's pure " SPINAL TAP " I bet it goes to eleven!! . So glad to see you looking so well, to be fair I'm a bit, alright a lot of a fan boy / more OLD FART these days. I always thought you were the archetype ROCKSTAR and you still are , you've given pleasure to millions of people and there's not many who can say that!! Thanks for all the wonderful music. PEACE AND LOVE TO EVERYONE ❤❤.
I didn’t know international guitar month was a thing!! Sick guitar, I’m so excited to get my own electric guitar one day. Excited for the new album in 9 days (I hope I didn’t miscount 😭). You’re awesome
I remember playing Mott when my son was a teenager (now 39.) He said, who's this? I said, *Mott The Hoople and don't you ever forget that!* Speaking of cheap guitars... David Lindley once said when a reporter asked him why he was playing a cheap guitar. You can't get this sound from a quality built guitar. "I'm going to buy me a Mercury and cruise it up and down this road!"
Mott has always been my go to music. I've turned on many many people to Ian hunter and Mott the Hoople ❤
Love you Ian! You are one of my R n R heroes and I hold you and Mott close to my heart. God bless you.
💗✨ Gotta Love it 🔥 The first album I ever bought was Mott ......when I was 15. Hey Ian !!

Thomas Organ Company:Jester 2000...
Harvey Thomas did not build organs, but he could play one. Harvey was a dear friend and I miss him.
One of the Boys
Yuk, revolting looking guitar...
